Haha. Yep the Yugo. In my senior year high school yearbook the predictions said I was slated for infamy as the car designer that turned Yugo around and made them direct competetors with Lamborghini. Never happened.

Nah, that's a prop car from the next GI Joe movie

Sure? There's a lot of articles about Irvine building this based on a Corvette C6, it was just on show at Pebble Beach

...

A hearse with side pipes and it looks like it has stretched tires too. :spin:

At least he don't hold back on his design efforts. And isn't that the point behind show cars - go wild?

i don't get how the unimog is in a ugly list. its a beauty in function.

Of course it's a functional vehicle, but it's still ugly. Some vehicles could really have benefited from a good designer to take the step from functional but ugly to awesome.

Every Acura vehicle made right now, and every Infiniti SUV

That Acura is fugly.

The tundras are not ugly IMO and should not be on this list.

Now the infiniti fx SUVs I agree with as they look like big shoes. And they sound like a high strung sporty car in what is supposed to be a refined SUV.

you expect a ferrari ? its functionally great lookin.

function and form can actually be very appealing.

Quite frankly, I always liked the look of that Sequoia. It was big and burly looking, which matched its physical dimensions. It wasn't trying to look sleek and sporty. It just looks very unassuming and truthful, but in a good way. Same with the Tundra. Kind of the opposite of the current Chevys and Fords, which are trying WAY too hard to be tough-looking and end up overly boxy - almost like caricatures.

Looks OK except that the grill looks like somebody had an accident when they were thinking.

i always thought the tundras looked out of proportion. like the windows were too small for the rest of the truck. and the wheel wells were the wrong shape or size. kind of like the downs kid of the class, lumpy shoulders and small eyes that were too close together.

Something a Humvee has nightmares about. It was way ahead of its time, and the boxy design was common in the 80's. And with a 7.2 liter V12 from the Countach it wasn't under-motorized either.

I completely agree with this abotu the tundras. They do not look proportionate. The bottom the truck is big and bubbly and the top looks like it has been chopped which makes the windows look smaller.

I still wouldn't call them ugly. They look ok for what they need to do... be a truck.
