  1. Japan has always kept the best for themselves. We never got any of the limited run models in the UK. Same for the Impreza. No RA, Spec C etc. If you wanted one, you had to import it yourself. Ps, I applaud what you've done so far with yours. Looks stunning. The dealer I've just bought my TBSTI from had 2 x S402 wagons in stock for sale. However, they were triple the price of mine and then once VAT, import duty, shipping etc was added, they worked out too expensive to get on the road. This is one of them - https://www.fujicars.jp/detail/19102255/index.html
  2. No. Will be keeping all the parts that get swapped in case I ever decide to sell the car and put it back to standard.
  3. I'll be having the same setup on the Legacy as the Forester STI. Gold Brembos, anthracite wheels and G-Hook discs with a fast road pad.
  4. My Forester STI still had the factory film on a lot of the parts too.
  5. Few more pictures from the docks. The car still has the blue factory film on the door sills and rear bumper scuff guards.
  6. Quick update. Dealer just confirmed that the car has now been moved to the docks ready for shipping on the next UK bound boat. Looking a little dirty at the moment!
  7. Thanks to everyone for the welcome. Can't wait to get it and put my own stamp on it. Nothing major, more an OEM look/theme to it. Slightly lower, re-mapped for UK fuel and a slight boost increase, refurb the Brembos to gold (all white cars came with black Brembos), full service including all belts and ATF, new discs and pads, refurb the wheels to a darker colour and fit a new set of tyres. It's going to be a long 16 weeks until it's legally on the road!
  8. No. I specifically was after an auto. 60/40 rear bias, less understeer than a manual, more lower down torque when re-mapped than the manual and trying to find a manual in Japan now is getting really difficult anyway. 300bhp is the safe limit on the JDM ones anyway. The autos map to nearly 400ftlb of torque on 99 RON.
  9. Just signed up. I already have a 2005 Legacy wagon. I've just bought another wagon from Japan. It's a 2007 Tuned by STI. Pearl white, 49k miles, factory standard. Should be in the UK ready to drive in January 2021! Will be a long wait. Anyway, few pictures below from the dealer in Japan. I'll update the thread when it lands as I have a few mods planned for it.
