  1. New Thule 598's fitted today. instagram image video download
  2. Tyres got to be black at all times! That's the rules
  3. Treated the car to some new discs and pads. 2 piece front set-up for a bit of weight saving. They're machined for pre and post 2007 STI Brembos, hence the 10 holes!
  4. Not often they come up for sale. One here though. https://jspecauto.com/en/subaru/front-clips/4492/jdm-subaru-legacy-s402-tuned-by-sti-front-end-with-hood-wide-fenders-headlights-carbon-lip-bumper-rad-support-etc/
  5. Yes. Powered by 12v, not mechanically.
  6. A dealer in the UK has just brought one over. https://www.fairmontsportsandclassics.com/vehicle-details/used-subaru-legacy-b4-s401-for-sale-in-brentwood-essex-u251/
  7. Pretty rare car for sale over in Japan from the same dealer I bought my TBSTI from. Even rarer being the 5MT. Not often these come up for sale. Only a handful in the UK. https://www.fujicars.jp/detail/52001740/index.html
  8. As a JDM only model, you've no chance. Only way is to build one.
  9. I'm sure that you need to connect it to the BtSsm app for all functions to work.
  10. Just a reminder that you won't get a rumble from the twin scroll. You'd have to change everything, headers/up pipe, downpipe, turbo just to get that sound. The twin scroll is the only 2.0 that generates more torque than bhp. The JDM twin scroll is a lot more refined/quieter on the road than all other Legacies.
  11. I've never understood the rule you have over there. It would be classed as competition law over here. It is an anti-competitive activity that is basically running a cartel. The system is being fixed and controlled in such a way that you, the consumer, can only buy what they say. So much for the world's number one free market!
  12. Couple of pics from 5 minutes ago. The sun just tailing off in the distance. My favourite view of the wagon. Rear 3/4. Still looks good for a 14 year old car.
  13. I had a full service on my fresh import when it landed a few months ago. Belts, water pump, plugs, box serviced, diffs serviced and most importantly, re-mapped for the fuel I was going to use (Shell 99 Ron). Whatever you do, have it mapped for your local fuel. I also had a full Dinitrol rust treatment done on it. I won't use it in bad weather, just had it done for peace of mind. I wouldn't bother with the cats/downpipes etc. These are not far off the limit performance wise on the stock motor (280bhp for the manual). 300bhp about the limit on stock rods on the JDM motor. Everyone I know with one keeps them to about 1.2bar. Any more, they all end up throwing a rod.
  14. Cleaning day here at Legacy Towers. Gave the daily its weekly bath!
  15. Connected up my battery conditioner while it's sat in the garage.
