This week's little project. I was after some carbon arch guards but they don't make them for my model. Got the paper and cardboard out to make a set of templates, ordered a sheet of 2x2 twill double sided carbon and will make my own. The ATF cooler is all part of the radiator. No separate cooler on this.

Not sure about the US, but over here in the UK, catalytic converter theft is rife. People are having them stolen during the night while parked up on their driveways. It's been going on for years, all because of the scrap value of them because they contain rhodium, platinum and palladium.

Yes, UK plate. You can have a square or rectangular plate on an import. The system works on the first two letters being a location of registration (zip code), the second and third numbers being year of registration and the last three letters being random. Now, if that plate has never been issued to a vehicle, you can buy it from the DVLA, as long as the plate does not make the car look newer than it is. So you can put a 2007 plate on a 2008 car, but not on a 2006 car.

I dropped the car off at my nearest Subaru specialist on Saturday just gone. It's having a big service! Cambelt, Water pump, low temp thermostat, gearbox flush, new front and rear diff oil, new plugs, K+N panel filter, remap for VPower 99 fuel and suspension set to fast road spec. Will be picking it back up this Saturday. A few of us have a ride out planned the first Sunday in May. Been over a year now since we last went out! I'll get the camera out this weekend and get some proper pictures, instead of the ones on my phone.

Picking the wheels up tonight after work. Will get them fitted later when I get back. Fresh tyres, new centre caps, waxed and sealed.

In the UK, the glass would normally have a heater image printed on them if they were. The switch only works the heated part of the the front lower screen where the wipers sit. Heated mirrors work by turning the heated rear screen on. I "think" the factory loom is on them all. If you replace the standard glass with heated glass, it's a simple plug and play swap.
