  1. A group of us suby freeks created a private meet that is not published on the when and where, but we meet monday nights. I am not feeling well today so I am not going. but I am normally there. We are just trying to keep people like ubercalf on iclub from comming. he came out once and went on one of our regular mountain drives and light up a joint in the middle of it. It wasn't apriciated since we are all safty minded and that is not wise.
  2. I have a question now that I have had mine in for a while now, what are you all using to split your input or switch it? I have 4 components and would like to make it easy to switch or just have them all plugged in w/out loosing to much quality?

    Thanks

and Jazzy is the subaru god for making this.

  3. I had the same problem but reversed. I found that I had a loose cable connected to the GLI. I reconnected it and secured it better and no everything is flawless.

I think my problem may have gotten lost in my rambling post so I'll post it again.

Basically, I don't get any sound out of left speakers when I use my iPod. I went back and checked all the connections but everything is snug as a bug. The radio and CD changer still work fine. It only happens when I try to use the iPod.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

FYI, my set up goes like this: HU > Y-Audio Cable > GLI > Mini-Stereo Plug to RCA Jack Splitter > Mini-Stereo Extension Cable > Belkin Auto Kit > iPod

  4. Well, finally took apart the dash and found the loose connection. I also installed my wire harnes and found that the missing dimming wire causes the LCD's to only have 2 settings and the back lighting on all the buttons and what not don't turn on. So need to pull everyting apart again and decide what to do next for the sub woofer.
  5. Jazzy, Just finished the install. WOW, THAT WAS EASY. I took my time and did everything slowly and verified everything before i moved on. Wow that is s clean install. I did one thing to dress it up though. I took the cables, RCA splitter, and the GLI and wraped them up so that they will not come loose and rattle. I ziped tied it all together and then wraped it in electical tape. It looks so nice.

Thank you so much for providing such a great product.

Now my XM sounds great and no more static interferance or radio station blead.
