  1. Yah I scheduled another alignment today. The wheel is literally a good 25-30 degrees pulling to the left. It just looks horrible. If they can't get it right today then I guess I'll be heading to the Subaru dealership.
  2. I've been going to Firestone for the last few years and they've done plenty of work for my vehicles, and I got an allignment from them today since I rotated my tires the other day. Now my car pulls right, and the steering wheel is too far to the left . Anyone know a reliable place to get an allignment done, where they won't butcher the job up? I bought the lifetime allignment at Firestone so I can go there as many times as I want, and worst comes to worst I'll get a refund and go somewhere else. Anyone got suggestions? Thanks.
  3. Maybe try shotting lower than 4k lmao, you never know. Sometimes people will sell stuff cheaper than they first thought.
  4. For my own sake I think I'll stick with every 8 months/5,000 miles. Not going to wait too long, but I also don't want to change my oil too often.
  5. Definently use the Subaru warranty if you need to. I uploaded it if you need a copy to download. CVT Warranty Extension.pdf
  6. How much dough are they asking? I would feel nervous taking a chance on a car with that many miles... but then again if it's a stick shift that would be more trustworthy.
  7. Well I guess that answers that question. I guess it adds a little something to the headlights...
  8. They're loud when you first start them up and they're cold, but they sound very quiet once they're warmed up. At least this is the case with my 2013 2.5i
  9. What even is the purpose of the orange side markers on the side of the headlights? I remember changing those bulbs and I couldn't move my wrist after for 3 days lmao. I threw in LED 168 bulbs and they look great though...
  10. Same here in Mass, we can get tons of snow and my Legacy goes through with no issues (6 years now). I always avoid potholes if I can, but sometimes they sneak up on me
  11. Haha I respect that! Sounds like the car has a really high chance of becoming a nice pick up for you
  12. How much dough did it cost you? Sounds like a great project car!
  13. That's a 13 year old car that you're mentioning though. And a car with 264K miles is never trustworthy either. I'd rather throw $5,000 towards a Honda or an Acura with less than 115k miles since that's nothing for those cars. A subaru with a CVT is just not the best thing to bet on @ 264K miles. I mean they even had to extend the warranty on them for crying out loud...
  14. Wow I never realized this... that saves me worrying about a rubber timing belt from blowing up!
  15. Honestly it's probably best to stick with halogens. Maybe find some lights that are very bright and more of a white color than the typical old hazy orange color.
  16. So the 2.5i has a timing chain? I was under the assumption that it had a rubber timing belt...
  17. I wouldn't even touch that car. Wayyyy too overpriced. You shouldnt pay more than $3500 with that mileage, which makes me nervous...
  18. How much of a difference did you notice with the car tuned? I've got a 2.5i as well and I am curious how much more of a difference there is before and after a tune.
  19. I tried looking for one the other day, but they didn't have anything listed to be compatible with my car. I'm not surprised as they probably only focus on more performance oriented cars, rather than the 4 cylinder economy oriented vehicles.
  20. How in the world did you get your 2.5 tuned ? I never thought it could get tuned considering it has a CVT?
  21. I would think going from the cheapest gas near me to Shell's 93 Octane would be better right? Considering it has all of those additives and such?
  22. My engine sounds great as far as I can tell, very nice and smooth. Also quiet. I'll probably go with either Sunoco's 91/93 blend, or Shell's 93 blend as it seems like the best choice near me. I'd like to keep my engine smooth, obviously
