  1. Lmao something definitely got caught up under the seat... As to what it was, I cannot say .
  2. I would just clean the headlights and throw the Laminx over them once the clearcoat is dry. It seems like a lot of work to crack open headlights and have to possibly bake them.
  3. Magnaflow has them between $380 and $650. Check Autozone for example.
  4. Yah they should be able to get 100k miles without any issues, until the CVT says otherwise lol. There's another Subaru dealership that I go to that is WAY better than this one.
  5. I picked up my car today. I was dissapointed to see that the Subaru dealership didn't even clean my car. They didn't wash the outside or the inside at all... plus there was no plastic to cover the seat or steering wheel. There also wasn't any of those paper floor mats that they always put in your car when it's being serviced. My mother's Infiniti gets washed and cleaned for free with each oil change and has the plastic on the seat & steering wheel + papar floor mats, but oh well. My car got a crap ton of work done to the engine, and I attached pictures of what was done. It was a $2,400 job (400 less than what was originally quoted). They didn't fully clean the engine bay either, only the areas where they took the engine out and such. They ended up changing the coolant and oil since they had to pull the engine out of the chassis. I guess I can't complain since Subaru is paying the full amount, but it just shows you how little the dealership I went to cares about its customers. They didn't even remove the old oil change sticker on the top left of my windshield...
  6. There's nothing like turning on the A/C with a new filter, it feels amazing.
  7. Having a black Legacy, the pollen has been sticking like crazy to my car the last few weeks. When I pick my car up on Tuesday from the Subaru Dealership it should hopefully be sparkling clean though .
  8. I usually change the paper cabin air filter every oil change. On my next future car I will be getting the K&N Cabin Air Filter though.
  9. There's a saying: "If it's a doubt, it's a don't". Not sure if you want to sell the car more than you would want to keep it...
  10. Yet we both had the oil leaking issue with our engines, AND Subaru tried to pull a BS game on both of us. Sadly he got caught in the trap, while I battled Subaru into fixing my car free of charge (my car had the issue at around 80k miles)...
  11. I'm assuming you had to have all those blocks of concrete delivered to your house? My mother wanted to put them in our backyard around our area of soil, and we ended ended up having to take 2 cars to pick up 60 of them. My car was sagging to say the least lmao
  12. Have you checked any of the wiring? Maybe something got loose or disconnected?
  13. Did your car have under 100k miles when you had that repair done? I thought my situation was a one hit wonder...
  14. How many miles does your car have? If it's below 100k miles, you should contact Subaru and file a complaint. We did that with my car since it was slowly leaking oil at around 80k. The Subaru dealership that I originally had my car checked out at tried to tell me I needed a $2800 repair to Re-Seal my whole engine but it backfired on them because we complained to the Subaru Headquarters, so we ended up getting the whole repair free...
  15. I only have my eye on either a 2012-2014 C300 Sport or a GLK 350, but like I said earlier it would have to be an absolute perfect deal with low mileage.
  16. Little bit of an update: My Step-Father took my car to the Subaru dealership in the early morning, and they gave him a loaner car (Subaru Forester). From my understanding they are pulling the whole engine out, and they will be re-sealing the whole engine all together. It's going to be free of charge for us, and Subaru will be paying the dealership to do the job ($2,800). The person who has been in contact with us from the Subaru Headquarters said that the diagnosis originally given to us from the dealership is not 100% accurate. The way I see it Subaru is actually doing a bit more for us then the original diagnosis, which is cool. Like I said earlier I will be selling the car after the repairs are done. I've got my eyes on either a 2012-2013 Infiniti G37X, an Acura TL (preferably a 2007-2008), Acura TSX, or Acura TLX. I might consider a Mercedes-Benz since my uncle has worked there for many years, but it would have to be an absolute PERFECT deal.
  17. I've always liked the yellow fog lights on a dark colored car, it meshes well.
  18. Make sure you video it. You need to have as much evidence as possible.
  19. Lol it's not blasphemy. If you got a good deal on a good car, I think all of us are happy for you! We would all rather see someone be happy with a good purchase, rather than see someone really upset that they ended up with a really crappy car.
  20. I made that mistake last time I changed my bulbs. My right side was not shining well at all, turned out my bulb was not fully clamped in...
