  1. I've got a set of 4 yellow side feeds kicking around, I'm fine with separating one if that's what you need.
  2. Do you have a 5MT transmission crossmember available? Not sure if it would be prohibitively expensive to ship though.
  3. Which brake lines are for sale? Interested if you have fronts.
  4. Currently pending on someone else's calipers but I'll let you know if it falls through.
  5. Looking for a few random parts to get my 06 GT on the road. ISO: Brake calipers (all four, would prefer to buy as a set. Cosmetics don't really matter, just need them to not be seized.) Fuel tank evap lines/equipment (bit of a long shot but if anyone has these lying around from an old tank that'd be awesome) Just looking for the rubber lines that run to the pressure valve and around the back of the fuel tank. Fuel filler neck/tube Mine's got some decent rust, just trying to make sure my fuel system isn't going to randomly start leaking some day. Axles I need the front pair of axles, totally fine with used ones. ---------------- Locally, if anyone has rear/front bumpers or a driver's side fender, let me know. OBP would be great but I'll be wrapping the car shortly so it's not a huge deal if it doesn't match. 19446 area
  6. Yes actually, when I picked up my current LGT it had been sitting for a while and the seats had some mildew on them. Now, I'm not saying that this is guaranteed to work - this is just my personal experience. You might damage your seats if you try it, etc. I was originally going to toss the seats but I wanted to see how they would clean up. Kept the passenger seat, initially hit it with a mist of 70% ISO, rubbed it down, and left it in the sun and kept it out of humid environments for a while. Then I got a bottle of undiluted vinegar and spent a long time with a bristle brush and a cloth scrubbing the little bit of mildew off and making sure to get in between all of the seams and into the perforations in the leather in the center section of the seat. I also vacuumed multiple times. The vinegar smell stuck with the seat for a couple of days but eventually went away. I found a bottle of leather cleaner and used that and scrubbed the seats, dried it, and wiped it down with water to make sure it wouldn't smell like the cleaner. Let it dry and it still had a fairly strong smell from the cleaning but I couldn't quite get rid of it. Brought it inside for a sim racing setup and it eventually lost the soap smell and has been working fine ever since. Hope this at least gives you an idea of where to start. I'm not responsible if you break anything.
  7. I got it running right! Turns out the throttle relay was in fact bad, just close enough to seeming fine that it didn't immediately make me think it was the issue when I measured the resistance between the terminals. It's open downpipe at the moment and so obnoxious. I'm sitting here grinning like an idiot, I'm so glad I got it fixed.
  8. Now that the holidays are over, I've had a bit more time to wrench on the LGT. Unfortunately for them, I had to evict a family of mice that decided to live in my hood liner and in the cabin air filter, so I pulled the entire dash and removed the blower motor and tossed it in the garbage. The spare one from the old Legacy will go in eventually. Temporarily put the instrument cluster back in the car and have recently been testing the throttle body wires to make sure they aren't shorting/grounded somewhere. Very tedious process, so I decided to pause and reconnect the ECU and start the car again. Before I started it, I pulled the intercooler and put the key on "run" so I could see if the throttle body was actually opening. Opened quick, no stuttering or anything, and had the little blip when the key is turned for the first time. Everything seems to check out. Lo and behold, the car started fine. Let it warm up, gave it a few very light revs and let it idle to see if it would hold up okay. It didn't. Throttle suddenly decided to start rising and it went into some sort of limp mode AGAIN where I have no control over the throttle. Killed it at 2K RPM and every time I'd start it it would be in limp mode afterwards. Tried to clear the code with my cheap Bluetooth OBDII reader, but I believe it's one of those permanent codes that I'm going to need something more expensive to remove it with because the permanent code didn't clear. The "pending" P2102 went away until the next start. Tracing this intermittent sort of issue is going to be a pain. I visually inspected the harness, wiggled wires around, etc, but nothing's loose or appears to be worn/kinked. Also replaced the battery as the old one wasn't going past 11.6V or so, so that was definitely cooked, and used the throttle body off the old car that was blown up. Guess I'll reset the ECU by removing the battery tomorrow and check and maybe clean some grounds to see if that's the issue. It felt so good to have it running that one time. I'm hooked, this thing better drive someday.
  9. "Weight reduction" Getting rid of the parts car shortly. A bunch of the stuff is going into the new one. Used my $17 Amazon USB boroscope(?) and looked inside the rockers for rust, found a bit of surface stuff but I'm hoping it'll be okay for a few years. I'm genuinely impressed with the overall condition of the new GT, fluid film/underbody coat seems to have worked extremely well for the P/Os NY winters. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. It's actually cracked, sorry! I don't think it was there when I got it, it must have developed from sitting in the sun. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  11. Cubby has a wear mark on the door, maybe the width of a penny? Thin, it's just worn away at the matte finish on the door. Don't remember any cracks but I'll check when I get home and I'll add a picture. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  12. Continuing to chase down the bad idle issues. Beginning to wonder if the fuel system is clogged somewhere, which would probably make sense since the car sat for so long. Found a video with an idle similar to mine, not sure who this random old guy is but I was looking for an example: Should I be looking at injectors? Fuel pump? I have a spare set of injectors I might toss on if I should be tinkering with that, or I can see if there's a DW65C I can pick up on the cheap or something. P2101 and P2102 are still lingering despite me checking the throttle relay, changing out the throttle body for a spare one, cleaning it, and reassembling the whole thing. Throttle pedal does not seem to interact with the throttle control system at all. Any recommendations? I can maybe grab a quick video of it tomorrow but I hate to start it when it sounds like it's running so poorly.
  13. No, they're rusty and I don't think I'll have them up for sale. Thanks for checking though. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  14. Bought a new black 06 5MT on Saturday. Towed it back from upstate NY and almost had the tow rig's brakes fade out from the hilly descent. Fun experience! Will update with a proper thread eventually, but the car's alright. Rusty suspension but the shell is incredibly clean and there is absolutely no rust anywhere except at the bottom of the driver's door. Under tray is hardly even scratched and it still has all of the body clips. Sat for 2 ish years after the clutch or tranny failed, so I figured I'd chase down the issue and get it driving again. Pulled my old 5MT from the silver 06 and checking around for a suitable clutch, just have to figure out what the new car needs. Also chasing down a rough idle and P2101/P2102 (throttle position sensor and throttle control circuit actuator low) codes on the new car. Cleaned the throttle body, which had some pretty thick carbon deposits and will probably swap out my MAF for the spare one tomorrow, as well as fresh fuel (there is still a small amount of old fuel in the tank, hoping it's not too severely contaminated. Oh well.) Going to make sure the throttle is recalibrated and see if it'll run a bit better. Only had those two codes when I checked the ECU so gonna try to resolve that and go from there. 15. I could do $20 for just the mirrors if you don't need the triangular mounting bracket that fits on the door. That might need two boxes so the brackets and mirrors together would probably be $30. Flat rate seems to be the best way to go from what I know. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  16. I'll let you know if the seats don't sell. I'm about to add the full interior and I'm trying to keep all of the pieces together for now. Thanks for your interest! Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  17. ALL PRICES O.B.O., I'd like to get rid of this thing pretty soon. I'm new to this so I don't know exact prices. Let me know if something's much higher than it should be. Open to all offers, the worst I can do is counter or say no. All parts available for local pickup in the 19446 (Lansdale) area. Will ship at buyer's expense. Paypal + fee or cash only. Found out that my rear passenger quarter panel was shoddily replaced, causing serious rust issues on the entire passenger side of the car. Clean titled but the body shop really screwed up the repair and there's Bondo in various areas that soaked up water and are now rusting everything. Turbo blew and took the engine with it, so the parts that come from this may be contaminated. I would definitely suggest cleaning anything intake related, although I only found oil and no metal shavings anywhere but in the oil pan. The mileage on these parts is going to vary. I can't guarantee anything, but I can tell you that the car had a new motor at 140k and made it to 240k. I don't know if the accessories have 240k or 140k on them, so buy at your own discretion. VIN: 4S3BL676566203789 Will be returning to the LGT life in a few months when I find a new car to roll with. Absolutely love the chassis and looks of the 05-09 models so I'll definitely pick one up when I can. In summary, everything should be for sale except for: Passenger side door shells (very rusty at the bottom, door cards are okay) Engine/Turbo (nuked itself) Downpipe (has a rusted bottom flange, you can buy it if you really want.) Fuel pump plastic assembly (I need it to keep the tank sealed for now, since there's fuel. I can still sell the indicator sensor and fuel pump if necessary until I am able to siphon the fuel out.) Headlights (certain relatives of mine attempted to buff them when I had them out of my car and it didn't end well. ) Stock grille (broke a tab on it when I took the bumper off. Currently using it as a test bench for different types of mesh fillings to see what my ideal setup would look like. ) Clutch (quite worn, throwout bearing needed replaced as well.) Shifter That's all I can think of for now. I have pictures of some parts right now, but leave a reply if you want me to add a picture and description of another part that you might be interested in. Now, parts for sale: Radiator w/fans - $150 Surprisingly good condition, must have been replaced. Intake Manifold - $75, clean, no issues from what I saw. Radiator/bumper air dam trim thing - $10 TGVs w/motors (One motor is loose and the valve is facing the wrong way, I was tinkering with it. I'll fix it before I ship.) - $40 Fuel Pressure Regulator - $50 P/S Pump - $40 Alternator - $50 Throttle Body - $70 Injectors w/fuel lines (as shown in pictures, might reccomend getting them cleaned because they were in a dirty garage. don't appear to be clogged) - $55 Rear O2 Sensor - $20 Coolant Crossover Pipe w/sensor(?) - $10 Turbo heatshield (has small cracks) - $5, included if you buy anything else locally Timing covers w/bolts - $25 Windshield washer tank w/sensor and cap/dipstick - $15 Mirrors (passenger side has a small spiderweb of cracks where a rock hit) - $40/each Dogleg quarter panel trim (One side is quite scraped up. Will update tomorrow with which side is damaged) - $10 for pair BPV - $30 Airbox with filter (filter needs some pieces of leaves cleaned out, but is otherwise fairly clean) - $30 Catted uppipe with EGT sensor - $50? Not sure who would want this, it's up though. Front bumper beam w/foam - $150 All prices are O.B.O. Thanks for reading. Let me know if there are any parts that you want me to add to the post and feel free to ask for better pics.
  18. I *had* planned for a VF52 + rebuild, but I'm drooling over the idea of an EG33 swap. It would honestly fit my budget a bit better if I went NA EG33 until I build up cash for a turbo and the supporting mods that I need. In reality, I'll probably just end up going with the VF52. [emoji14]
  19. Nice parts! I'm looking forward to the next updates. This is getting me all hyped up for when I eventually rebuild mine.
  20. Am I posting to a dead thread? White 05/06 wagon spotted west of 309; had an aftermarket exhaust, looked stock otherwise. Wasn't able to see the wheels.
  21. Spotted an 05/06 SWP sedan w/ stock spoiler, aftermarket exhaust, and maybe some suspension mods tonight at the Iron Pigs game.
  22. Wow, that really sucks. I didn't see your car until now, but wow, that was a beautiful car. Glad you're safe.
