  2. Probably going to ask cobb, unless they are already on the case. Justin? Trey? Only they can get a straight answer.
  3. ah yes, the fix for the studdering problem that doesn't exist. We don't know how to drive turbo cars ;(
  4. NP, just wire them together without actually cutting either into two.
  5. What I want to know, maximum mounting depth with proper spacers.
  6. Let's see, 200+ miles on cruise control, it can be optimized to be more fuel efficient. If it's as easy as pressing a button.. why not?
  7. It's what's on the other pole of the fog switch, switched ground. Now body ground. Yes, everything works.

  10. This mod will enable you to keep you fogs on with your high beams and use your fogs with your parking lights only. This walkthrough shows the wiring points only, not the dissassembly, or how to do your wiring. Standard disclaimer applies, you may break your car at your own risk. 1. First pic - overview, shows three locations you need to modify. From left to right: Blue connector from the mirror control/wiper heater assembly. Fog relay/relay assembly. Left stalk connector. 2. Second pic rear of relay assembly. With the relay assembly pulled out, cut the blue/white wire, secure the loose end from the car, and tap into the blue/white wire coming from the relay assembly. 3. Third/fourth pic. Find the violet wire on the blue connector, and attach your tap from step two here. Instead, you may also wire your tap into constant on or ACC, if you don't like your parking lights being on to have your fogs on. 4. Fifth pic. When looking the the front most part of the connector you will see a white/red and a black/black wire on the the same edge. Splice these two together, without severing either. (Careful, as there is another black/black on the other side which I did not check to see what it was)
  11. As a person who drives along roadways, I can personally vouch for DRL's peril. there have been several times when other vehicles have been invisible. Light emitting object against a light emitting background. Like that one time I looked both ways, zero cars, pulled out, and a black jetta with DRL's almost rear ended me. Now that I realize there is actually a car there, still very hard to make out with the sunset behind the car with it's lights on. The army has done experiments with camouflaging equipment in the daytime with an array of lamps aimed at the enemy, which works astonishingly well. So if by proven you mean not proven and by visible you mean invisible, you are right sir.
  12. Just push the tab with your thumb.. it may be very, very tight.. Just keep wiggling.
  13. Or a diamond tipped-hole cutter. btw, aren't there junk yards in japan? There have got to be some good wrecks to take parts off.
  14. Fold mirrors. The dial is a manual HID headlight height adjustment. I've been asking myself that since before I bought the car - make that before I could buy the car.
