  1. Good afternoon all! been quite a while since I needed to get on the forum which in my mind means things have been going well! I have an 07 Legacy GT MT and have been having a really irritating intermittent problem with the right turn signal (only). for the last two weeks when I go to use the right turn signal the blinker on my cluster goes dim but stays solid. While this is happening my turn signal is not being actuated which presents plenty of issues over here in Denver. - Note: this is after the stalk was swapped for a new one. this was happening constantly with the old stalk. Today I went to the pick and pull and got a new turn signal stalk in the hopes that this would help fix this issue. While it did "help" it did not fix the issue. Whereas it was happening 95% of the time I was trying to use the turn signal before I'd say with the stalk swap it is now happening 50% of the time. The only reasonable explanation I can think of is that all of my turn signals have been swapped for LED signals. My buddy told me it was because I needed to put a resistor inline with the turn signals. My argument to this is that the way I understood it, the LED lights come with resistors from the factory to avoid any issues. NOT TO MENTION: I have had these LED signals for over a year and the problem just started happening. I wanna thank you guys up front for any and all input. I know its not a huge issue, but it is certainly starting to piss me off and I worry about getting pulled over for not using a turn signal when I am legitimately trying to do so.
  2. All of these symptoms sounded a lot like a axle going going bad
  3. I vote the final picture. Not because its super hot and I want it, but because I had no idea how much it could look like a big WRX
  4. That does sound like one of those things that starts to nag at you to fix it. At least it doesn't effect performance though. Hope you find out it was just the sensor.
  5. Hahaha ^ Sounds like something you could easily do a permanent fix to. The question is do you want to be able to raise it? Otherwise I'd say some superglue could do the trick:D
  6. Well come on guys. He wants help with something that is his preference. Suppose after 10 years your armrest wouldnt stay up anymore.. prolly be annoying to you. I personally can't stand having the armrest up I'm a tall guy and I don't fit right when it's up. The goal here would be to offer the OP some advice not give him a hard time for having a prefrence that doesn't match yours
  7. I'd probably just start going through eBay or go the pick and pull. Seems like a part that can be replaced cheap enough to not worry about attempting to fix it
  8. i wouldnt really call it sticky at this point. discoloration is more apt, kind of lighter where the sun hits the most.
  9. "2005-2009 Outback and Legacy Dashboard warranty extension to repair sticky or melted dashboards exposed to high heat or humidity. Extends a warranty on all affected vehicles through March 2017 or to 10 years from original date of first sale for a one time fix or replacement of 2005-2009 Legacy and Outback dashboards damaged (sticky, melted) due to heat or humidity. This is na TSB, not a safety recall, so if there's no damage, there's no repair needed. Letters to owners will be mailed February 2016. TSB 12-197-16" I did not read through the thread to see if this had been mentioned but knew I had come across it recently. but there you have it, even Subaru acknowledges this issue AND blames it on high heat and humidity. ALSO, when I bought my car and called Subaru they confirmed that this warranty had already been done on my car. I live in a high head area (for part of the year) and it is not too sticky. however, my door panels are on the top.
