cars101 has the overall specs, but it looks lke the legacy is about 7 inches longer, an inch wider, little more head room, leg room is about the same front and back. more cargo room in the forester though, obviously. from what i remember, the forester didn't feel any smaller in the cabin, but driving it it felt quite a bit smaller.

Hats off. They pretty much owned my beloved knights. We somehow stole game one. Downhill from there
was still a great series, yall played your asses off. and especially for a team that was barely expected to win 30 games this season...can't really say anything bad. except stop that medieval times bullshit before the games. good luck with mcphee and the boys out there--hopefully georgie's learned a lesson about trading away prospects for junk to try and get you over the hump. god damn martin erat!

CAPS WIIINNNN, what a great night last night

from what i've seen they do a good job making everything drop in. should be pretty straight forward. make sure you're looking at the right one though. some of them don't support the harmon kardon amplifier in case you have it.

Yeah, apparently 2017 was the final model year for the 200. And I love this damning paragraph from its wiki:
In a January 9, 2017 interview with Autoblog, Marchionne explained the decision to end production on the vehicle and not offering a replacement for the United States or Canada: "I can tell you right now that both the Chrysler 200 and the Dodge Dart, as great products as they were, were the least financially rewarding enterprises that we've carried out inside FCA in the last eight years," adding "I don't know one investment that was as bad as these two were."

"as great products as they were"...? I'll have what he's having...must be some good stuff. Aside from the 300, chrysler hasn't made a car people want to drive since the PT Cruiser came out...17 years ago. Good riddance for sure.

Nothing fun, just an oil change and tire rotation yesterday, and she's getting a good wash and wax tomorrow.

tint! 35% all around, looks great.

First picture of mine on here. Meet Sharon. Been raining for the past 4 days, see the river in the background looking angry, but she got tint this morning, 35% all around, and looks so much better. Next up is an ebay lip and blacking out the inside of the headlights...still trying to decide what I want to do with the grill...

There's at least me and Dick Thomas in Richmond as well. 3 5th gen LGTs that I'm aware of =)
Oh, very cool! if you ever see a red one that's perpetually filthy on the outside that's me!
-
woah, there's another 5th gen in richmond? I've only seen 4th gens around
-
i'm sure he can recoup the cost of an alignment and a couple hours of work with what he can get selling the konis.
-
Oooh, those are cool. i have literally no use for them, but i still want!

agree on the F crossovers sentiment...this move, and everybody moving to hybrid/electric(which isn't inherently a bad thing...), just makes me think that in 10 years time we're not going to be able to find a midsize somewhat sporty sedan with a manual at a reasonable price. Sad days ahead friends.
-
my local subaru mechanic hadn't ever seen a 5th gen GT before. He knew they existed, but there's apparently a very small number in the area so he'd never gotten to work on one. He was pretty stoked about it, so that made me pretty stoked.

Replaced all the pop-its under my bumper and on my grille with new ones because I was bored and wanted to do something with my car lmao.
ha, did that the other day. got 50 of em on ebay for like $5 and clean new ones makes life so much easier when you have to take em out again.

When you have a wagon you'll realize the practically for everyday use. Literally throw anything in the back and go for it.
Dressers, lawnmowers, ladders, dog kennel, storage bins, cases of water, tires...I could go on and on
...they make trucks for that purpose too though but not as fun for a daily
100% they're the ideal daily. i miss the crap out of mine, so i'm constantly keeping an eye out for a cheap 3rd gen 5 speed that needs head gaskets, just like my old one...

changed my spark plugs this morning. pain in the butt for sure, but doable.

I live in MD. We only deal with emission every 2 years. I do have email alert set up with MVA. I already got the notice for the Benz like last month by mail/email but never for the Subaru
I don't know why i always assume VA for DC area. We had to it every 2 years too which isn't bad, but still better to not have to do em haha. That's weird though. glad you caught it.

Never got my renewal notice in the mail for the Legacy. Good thing I checked the plates to see when it expired (April/2018). I just renew the registration online. Waiting for my new stickers to come in. I need to go thru my papers to see when the last time I did SMOG. I never got the papers for the emission either but want to make sure I won't miss it and then get penalize with late fees.
So glad I moved out of Northern VA and don't have to deal with emissions anymore. Just a heads up, you can set up email alerts on the DMV site, i got an email on feb 1 telling me my rego expired at the end of the month.

Hey guys, i'm new here.
31 male, Richmond VA. I get you stoned. not a drug dealer, i do dispatch and order management for a quarry.
2010 LGT in red. This is my 3rd Subaru, 07 Impreza and 01 Outback before. Gonna keep her mostly stock(just done shifter bushing and stop, and HIDs because i'm tired of changing bulbs already), maybe stage 1, but I've had too many modified cars in the past and just want something that works.
5th Gen GT Finds
in Fifth Generation Legacy (2010 - 2014 )

Basically...he buys cheap examples of cars, has his mechanic fix them or highly modify them(LS swapped 911, lexus LX into a fully lifted and flexed off-roader), but he also finds nice examples of cars and lives with them as is for a while, or finds crappy examples and lives with them for a while.
He's actually really funny, and it's not the normal youtube car show that's hands on repair or straight reviews like the smoking tire etc. he's worth a watch for sure.
