  1. Did it affect any of the eyesight features?thats what I’m concern about.

Most of the issues that I discovered were people trying to install it on their WRX and not installing it properly, It's worth it to just pay a reputable Subaru shop to install the part. It looks like most people found it easier to install the part by going underneath the car. That's what the guys at the shop had to do too.

  2. Will this work/fit on 2.5L 6th gen Legacy US?

Yes, I have it installed on my 2.5L. Just took it to my buddy's Subaru shop and they installed it for me. You won't notice a difference in the straightaways but OH MY GOSH, cornering is soooooo much fun with that thing. I took a turn near my house that most people would have to sharply break for. It just ate it up. I still have my rear sway bar installed which I'm super glad that I kept on, because within 3 weeks of having it, a guy sideswiped me on the highway at 50+ mph at full speed. The way he hit me, the car should've spun around. By the grace of God and having those parts, the car just barely and I mean barely moved and stayed exactly spot on in my lane. It took me a couple seconds to realize someone hit me. I'm fine and I'm very thankful that the damage to my car or myself wasn't as bad as it could've been.

Huge thanks to surmiser for recommending getting it installed. Well worth the investment.

  3. Just measures the Trunk of a 2017 Impreza at 48" and our Gen 6 is 50", so if you guys wanted to buy the Rear Wing and Center it properly it might work..[emoji6]

Thanks for the tip. APC has a rear wing that I keep eyeballing on Rallysportdirect but that might open a can of worms that I'm not prepared for.

  4. the larger wheels or lowering the car will be far more of a stiff ride than the sway bar BTW.

Not really. I have 20s and a rear sway bar on mine. I'm going to reinstall my front strut bar. If anything it makes the car that much more fun to drive. I can't tell you how many cars I pass by and other Legacy and the things I've been able to do with that car.

The road noise is there but it's not bothersome at all. The only you should really worry is knowing that your mpg will drop. I'd probably just invest in solid performance tires and have fun. I hated my car at first but just doing a few mods so far as made it so fun to drive. I'm going to lower mine in the near future just gotta save up for it.

  5. If anyone is interested in purchasing or looking into coilovers there's a place that makes them in the states for our current generation Legacy. Someone did respond to text and confirmed that they can be made as stiff or soft as you want. They are a little pricey but legit.

  6. I was willing to pay the difference to get an adjustible bar. 22mm is 33% stiffer than 20mm. I tried mine set at 20mm and it wasn't stiff enough; the car felt more balanced and handled better at the 22mm setting. I didn't try the 24mm setting, which is 30% more stiff than 22mm.

I thought about getting the 24mm too but I was advised against it if I'm not experienced. I'm happy with the 22mm, the legacy hugs corners better than any sedan I've seen on the road so far.

  7. Holy expensive. 20mm is ~$100, for a 22mm the price goes up to $250? I think i'll stick with the 20mm lol.

Really, that much, the 22mm were only a $34 difference more from the 20mm when I bought them. I bought these when they were on sale, keep an eye out. You should be seeing specials soon for Labor Day.

  8. Got any more shots of these, like from the side of the car and the back of the car? I'm working on picking up a set with the same wheel specs and want to see what I'm in for.

  9. Model#: 20SIK-57-R6.58

    Sik 20x8.5 +35 offset 5x114.3 bolt pattern

    Tires: TOLEX246/35-20T52

Beware! If you're going to transport your old wheels in your car, the significant weight increase in the wheels can cause severe damage to your fenders. My tires started rubbing and my fenders could've been destroyed. The 20s will fit but PLEASE be aware of this. I found out that rolling your fenders is not that expensive so doing that if you go big is definitely worth it especially if you're going to be transporting serious weight in your car i.e passengers and heavy cargo. By the grace of God im so thankful i caught this before it was too late, and i wouldve been in serious danger. Let me know what you guys think of the wheels. I did see black and chrome ones but they disappeared into the car and yes did give a more aggressive look. I decided on these for more of a contrast look.

  10. I'm years from thinking of my next car if everything goes well. But if I could request my own I'd like to see a sleeker, meaner looking Legacy with 350+HP blown Boxer and a six speed auto with manual override. Something wide, flat, and fast, that also goes in the snow.

Talked to a guy at the subaru dealership and he did say the Levorg wagon is coming to the states. When I don't know.

  11. You can get a shop to build you headers. I wouldn't mess with the cams. That's a step for MUCH later into the job.

Yeah, I emailed the guys from Raptor Superchargers and they informed me that the headers are well made on the 16 2.5i model and I shouldn't mess with them. I'm going to leave the engine performance alone and go find me a set of wheels and improve my handling...but if I could find a Boxer DIT engine...wishful thinking.

  12. Everyone has their own right to their own opinion which is why I did not respond to his first post. But now that he admits at being a little harsh, I will respond. I was going for looks and not aerodynamics. There are about 7 Legacy's in my town and mine sticks out as the only one with mods. I like that part! I always get asked by the other owners where I got my mods and I gladly tell them. I'l also be upgrading the turn signals on the rear too. There is a mod from Diode Dynamics that gets rid of the orange signal and makes your LED's blink. Pretty Cool!

That's sick! but i don't know how people drive in your town but where I live, they're nuts! It would be cool to do something like that but I wonder if the cops would give you a hard time about it.
