  1. Looking into getting a car fire extinguisher. Any recommendations on mounts and the best place to mount in the car? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Cool, I’ll reach back out to let them do it. I love everything about the Legacy but the windshield is the absolute worse part of owning that car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So I’ve got a giant crack in my windshield. This is probably the seventh time I’m about to replace this windshield. So anyhow, I was wondering if it’s possible to replace the windshield with an aftermarket one versus going OEM. Installer said I wouldn’t need to do recalibration based on their installation method. Any thoughts? I haven’t scheduled anything yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Installed a full Powerstop brake kit after the dealership wanted to charge me almost $800 to replace just my rear set. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. https://www.subispeed.com/part/cr-17imp-oes-carbon-reproductions-oe-sport-style-spoiler-2017-impreza-4d#.YPAonRgpB-E It looks like it's currently out of stock bit they should get more in. Word of caution, it does not lay flush to the trunk so you will have to drill into your trunk hood. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  6. I didn't do anything crazy this weekend. I got my new plate tags in the mail and some new carbon fiber license plate covers. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. Got my tail lights painted today. Super loved how it came out [emoji16][emoji7]. It looks so much better in person. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  8. Finally got around to washing my car, didnt get to wax it. Re-wrapped my trunk lip( I cannot remember the specific name of this section). This is my second attempt because I didnt like my first go around. I managed to wash 1 of my rims before the thunderstorm rolled through. I think since my last post: -Redid my tint to 5% -redid the back Subaru logo and made it 3x bigger, had some other logo work done -installed rain guards -had my side mirrors painted black(not done by me) -put some door overlays on the car; -put in those reflectice door handle scratch protectors but I've yet to see it actually do anything. However, I just found some JDM OEM carbon fiber ones; I'll get those soon. -attempted to wrap my front grill. It wasn't bad but I didnt like the end result. If I attempt to use it again, I'll use the tape roll instead of the full sheet. Redid the grill using Dioyourcar Hydrodip Kit. I might need to re do it again. -I thought about wrapping my roof but the fin has me thinking about not doing it. -still on the fence about coilovers, just haven't found a set that I really love. -Finally debadged the trunk; I've learned that 100% acetone (the nail polish remover one) and 100% isopropyl alcohol removes that glue stuff the best. Hope you guys all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the holiday. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  9. I'll get a second opinion on this and see if I hear something different. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  10. Wait you tinted your windshield [emoji54]. Your brave. I redid my tints recently so now I have 5% all around Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  11. I'll definitely let the dealer know next time not to disconnect the battery. Actually I'm going to take it to a separate dealer and test that theory, but that's going to be a while from now. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  12. That makes sense then usually after a "while" then the power comes to what it was before the oil change. And I'm starting to dislike the Red Optima batteries now. It's what I currently have and I'm not impressed. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. I have an issue maybe you guys can help me resolve. Every time I take my car in to get an oil change, the car always runs super sluggish afterwards and I don't know why. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  14. [emoji1787][emoji1787] I thought I was bad. No lie though our car is slow as heck but soo fun to drive. People look at me crazy but I love my car. The things you've done to your car is very impressive too. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  15. About $1900. ohh I'm still crying [emoji21][emoji21] Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  16. I totally agree; I mean cars are meant to be driven. Your car will last as long as the care you give it. It's good that you take it out at least once a week on the highway. It does the car more good than bad. I hope you're not that driver that just cruises and holds up the fast lane lol. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah . I drive my car hard though and I have over 110K miles on mine so it was just time. Gosh that was an expensive bill sheesh, but my car drives so much better now so I’m absolutely grateful.
  18. My front axles have officially kicked the bucket. Car is at the dealership getting worked on but they gave me the 2021 Outback has a loaner...man that is one fun wagon to drive. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  19. Now you need to tint those windows. You should look into the air suspension, I'm seeing more that's available right now. Good gosh, I've seen so mant Honda Accords killing it in the aftermarket game. Sheesh our Legacy's get no love. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah depends where you are. I ended up getting only freezing rain. Most of my coworkers further west and north of me got 8+ inches of snow and ice. I swear every time I put this cover on my car, the snow says nah we're gonna skip her lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  21. Sorry I think you misunderstood me, I was referring to the 6th gen 2016-2019 legacy 3.6r models. We still have them here in the US if you can find one. They stopped making the 3.6r once Subaru switched the Legacy over to the new global platform for 2020. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  22. Getting the car ready for this major snow storm that's about to hit the northeast. I won't get much snow but I hate freezing rain. I love the Frost Guard shield and mirror covers, saves me so much time cleaning snow off my car. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  23. I totally agree, I can't stand the rear of the new Legacy XT. That turned me off when they originally unveiled it and then seeing it up close at the dealer, didn't change my mind. It's interesting to see how many 6th gen'rs have upgraded to the latest model. If I knew how to drive a manual, I'd get a 6th gen 3.6r or the new Outback XT as my next car.
