  1. Holy expensive. 20mm is ~$100, for a 22mm the price goes up to $250? I think i'll stick with the 20mm lol.
  2. Just pulled off the highway in this picture. Not sure if Matt tricked my 3.6r into thinking it's supposed to take fuel like an H4, but I'm very happy. I've yet to get the 91/93 tune yet but I'll update once I have! http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160826/43dca7f04e67c965eeade4d812950df6.jpg Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  3. Essentially yes. It's more for looks, but ideally it allows more air in. Whether your engine will even require more air is the question. They so these are relatively useless until you upgrade the internals of the motor. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  4. LegacyGT.com's first 6th Gen Tuned Legacy 3.6r... http://mdlfinancialgroup.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/comingsoon.jpg
  5. Agreed; Legacysteering has brought a unique aspect of bickering / anger to some of the members of this forum. Why watch the soap operas, when you have Days of our Legacy's on Legacygt.com?
  6. Warrantied or out of pocket? We recently did a trip to Myrtle Beach and I have a sizeable chip in my windshield. No cracking or anything. Wanted to see if it was worth bringing to the dealer or not.
  7. I hope to be able to build enough equity in my Legacy to have a semi-decent chunk of a down payment on a 2018-2019 Audi S6
  8. take my money take my money! But in all serious please let me know as soon as you guys develop them, i'll be ordering them right away. I've got a guy doing the demon eye install in my lights so i'm gonna hold off for now until these are ready.
  9. Apexi has a point, I called my local Subaru dealer for a price for the rear 20mm STI swaybar, and in conversation I brought up that it was going in my Legacy and he immediately said that he can't say that it'll fit EVEN if it will. They're scared sh!# when it comes to modifying cars
  10. Sure thing, working at the moment but i'll venture out into the parking lot later on and snap a couple pictures.
  11. I got upset at first but then read the part numbers and was like http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160813/e4729d82566c4b9ac906458a09eba0bc.jpg Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  12. Dr. Photo, are you new around the forums? I've only seen you recently and you've been making leaps and bounds of discoveries for our generation Legacy's. Thanks for that.
  13. It's plenty loud enough, but I have half a mind to enter into Wicked Big Meet's exhaust competition next year since there wasn't a single H6 there, and i can't have mufflers to do that
  14. I'm looking at mid to end of this week. Should be hooking up with another forum member and swapping this one out. I'll definitely let you know Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  15. I may be having a Nameless stainless 4" muffler axleback system for sale very soon Perfect quality / barely used, just going for something a bit different. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  16. In my opinion 18 is the SMALLEST these cars should have on them. In the next few months I'm going to be trying my luck with 19's as I feel it matches the car perfectly. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  17. Not sure which one I'm going to do first, i'm thinking the supercharger because it sounds easier/cheaper and if i'll be replacing the transmission anyways..
  18. Rolling friction/wind resistance increases so yeah, you lose mpg's as well as a slower rolling start time. Think of it this way, you have more tire grabbing the road and sticking to it, the motor has to work a little bit harder to compensate for that. If you're worried about mpg's, your biggest wheel concern should be the weight of the wheel. Reducing / adding rotational force weight (Drivetrain/wheels) will have the most obvious effect. Since they're attached to the powertrain, it's alot more noticeable than say, removing something from the cabin. Some cheap wheels can be VERY heavy and that will slaughter your mpg's and acceleration. TSW makes some pretty nice lightweight wheels.
  19. I'm seriously debating dropping the STI standard into my 3.6r.. There's talk in the Subaru world that it's not too bad of a swap. I'll most likely have a shop sponsor me to do all the labor and i'll provide the parts, save me a few grand atleast.
  20. They marketed this quite well also... When I was thinking about purchasing mine, one of the videos said 'fog lights that follow the road as you travel' when it should have said 'turn your wheel more than 20 degrees and they pop on, even on slight turns, making people think you have a fog light out! But don't worry, they're not really fog lights, they really just light up that patch of gravel you can barely see in front of the car anyways!' Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  21. I'm leaving for work 15 minutes early just so I can find a gat damn for sale sign. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  22. I wish I could find someone who could tune the CVT in the area. I haven't found ANYONE who can help me with a tune. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  23. Tigger, that's only if you think us 3.6r guys aren't keeping up with you 2.5 guys every step of the way I intend on doing strictly visual mods now, at 35k I'll debate the supercharger, and at 60k the 6mt will be going in. At that point the car will be paid off and I'll be using it as a second vehicle, maybe buying an SUV or something bigger as the primary. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  24. Perhaps we can go into survival mode? 3 likes to win / 5 day deadline? Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
