  1. Enjoy it while you can because when we get a hold of the E85 tune it's game over.
  2. I feel the Legacy is a sharp car and the outback lets off more of a rugged presence, I'd be very interested to see how the swap comes out. If I were to do it, I'd do some things to accentuate the ruggedness, perhaps outback style roof rails, front mounted light bar, etc. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah Diesel4982 run through your exact process. If you list it step by step i'm sure one of the guys here will be able to pinpoint where the error is.
  4. We can check the weekend New Hampshire trip off as a success http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161017/eadd2c4968e51242566de5b5a26b946b.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161017/936680394ebecaa3d18bc83aa87f96b8.jpg Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  5. I'll be ordering my 20mm soon. The parts department at my local subie dealer and I are starting to become good friends... Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

  7. Here's my pretty picture, roof top garage with the Boston Skyline in the back. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161007/7274cf04cc29e6282aa196287454f54d.jpg If we want to get technical, here she is hiding inside the same garage http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161007/4eea0f39d0240bf4d047a78b23f21e5b.jpg Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  8. Thank you for the insight! I'm currently awaiting messages from 2 guys with used Whiteline 22mm adjustable bars off of craigslist. If I get a response with a decent price (under $150) I'll be grabbing those. If I don't, I'll be picking up a 20mm through my dealer. And there is in fact a $150 us dollar between the two. The 20mm STI sway bar is $90 at my local dealer, and the Whiteline is about $240. An extreme increase.. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  9. What 9,000?! There's no way that can be right! Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  10. It's great to have you rhombus. This forum is exactly that, a forum. A place for many minds to share their experiences for the greater good of all owners. We all bring something different to the table on hopes for achieving a better end result. I'm very thankful to have found this website. Getting a little less deep, right now I'm between the 20mm STI bar and the 22mm white line bar. The 20mm is only 90 bucks at my dealer, and the 22mm is like 220 and God knows how much the shipping is.. For those who own the 20mm, do you find yourself longing for a stronger solution, or are you content with your upgrade? For those who own the 22mm, do you feel it's 150% better than the 20mm, to justify the 150% price increase? Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  11. I think we should switch the rules up to 3 likes per picture until we can get the ball rolling again. Activity just isn't there yet..
  12. I do recall hearing something about that. I heard that using a seperate CVT fluid cooler on the HTCVT to allow it to withstand an extra 75 horse.
  13. Exactly what Tigger said. All said and done you're probably looking at roughly $5,000 out the door with no guarantee on reliability as you're alone in that world of mods for these cars. You're better off taking that $5,000 and your current car and trading up to a 3.6r. You'd be getting the same power as a supercharged 2.5i, and you're starting at ground level in terms of mods. Speaking from experience with TH's tune and my cold air intake, my car is a whole lot of fun. It's convinced me to never go 4 cylinder turbo again nevermind N/A.
  14. Outside of replacing it, I'm not sure. CVT's are certainly not in my area of expertise.. The only thing I can think of is swapping it out for a HTCVT, but i'm not sure how it'd bolt in mechanically. Electronically I don't think it'd be a huge problem as they're not too different from the normal CVT besides the inner workings.
  15. I wouldn't worry about the motor moreso the CVT. You 2.5 guys don't have the beefed up HTCVT that the 3.6r's and WRX's have. You're going to run into issues with reliability.
  16. Just make sure you call around, dealers love to price gouge. I usually have bad luck with the dealer up the road from me, so I tried all the ones within a 20 mile radius, they all reported back between 25-30 each side. For the fun of it I called my closest dealer and they came back with half the cost! I even had the guy confirm by pulling a sport VIN and making sure they were the right ones. These will make due until they decide to /hopefully/ offer the JDM chrome fog housings. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  17. Update: Called a local dealer and they'll be delivered on Wednesday. Paid $13 per side. Not bad at all and will match my gloss black grill perfectly. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  18. Looks great. I'll be doing these soon! The stock ones look to be about 10 bucks each so I can't imagine the sports will be much more. I'm going to call my dealer tomorrow to get prices.. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  19. I'm so down. This was one of the highlights when I first bought my car.. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  20. Alright guys I've been searching using the damn magnifying glass but we're in a fight right now... Word on the street Morimoto xb fogs don't work with Eyesight? Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  21. Those wheels should have come factory. They really look stunning on your car, denokarter. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  22. I want a 48 hour notice before they drop Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  23. A MONTH OR TWO?!?!?!?! I need it now... I'll accept prototypes D:
  24. I did some very rough 0-60 times with my smart phone stop watch, paddle mode was 7.2 seconds and the auto mode was 7.5... Not too impressed considering that was what stock claimed. Beastcoast and I should be getting my 91/93 tune taken care of soon, hopefully there's an improvement.
  25. I could always 'test drive' a stock 2017 3.6r to see if there are any differences between the years
