  1. Went in for our 3rd ultrasound yesterday. She's 14 weeks and well we're pretty sure it's a boy! This view is from the bottom, legs are going to the left tail bone/back is to the right. And yes @ 14 weeks there's no way to be certain but the tech has over 30 years exp and said she's sure that's a boy.
  2. So this is new. Ive seen a couple other companies putting some up for sale for wrx/sti's but never listed the 5th gen till now. https://www.iagperformance.com/GDT-Cylinder-4-Chamber-Cooling-System-WRX-STI-p/gdt-1001.htm
  3. I just can't believe the resell value on the 5th gen GT is this bad. I mean sure most 10+ model vehicles are built cheaper than most '09 and down models were. But how can a '08 lgt with 175k book value almost the same as a more rare, nicer inside out, and just as well built '10 lgt. But I'm @ 150k on my '10 lgt and I can see this car easily making it another 150k on the stock parts if properly maintained and not racecar driven.
  4. So anyone got any good carseat suggestions for a permanent resident of my backseat? I've got 6 month's to decide but am excited as can be! It's been 3 years in the making and finally not 3 weeks after moving in to our own house it happens right about the time we discussed not pushing the issue till later this year. 8 weeks measured 6.5cm Heart rate was 178bpm
  5. So Torque Solutions has new(ish) rear LCAs for the '15 WRX. It's been a while since I've seen and LCA talk but IIRC these should work on the 5th gen. Looks like theres is quote a bit more adjustment points vs most other LCAs, look to have 6 different shock mounting points and both inner and outer adjustments. https://www.instagram.com/p/BkYeOHVBfYq/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=97hwqu0nyygw
  6. I like how you got the full face on but are wearing flip flops. [emoji23]
  7. The noise is good with me too, just read complaints about it and noticed what they mean. I drove on AT's for over a decade before the legacy but compared to summer tires they are quite loud @ 70 mph.
  8. Rolled 150k this afternoon. Couldn't snap a pic was driving on the interstate with a super trooper close by. But that makes 72k mi just by me in a little over 3 years. Service soon and on for 150k more!
  9. Ive had my AS-03's for a year now (~20k mi) and they are holding up great. They are a little noisy on the interstate but it's an A/S tire so you should expect some noise. They did great in light snow up to ~4in which your bumper becomes a plow by then anyways. And I have to make them slip in the rain, only 1 time have I felt the car drift in 1 spot that's notorious for it and it was near freezing. But I was looking at truck tires a couple weeks ago and it loaded the legacy automatically as my vehicle and I noticed you can't get them in the stock GT size from tire rack anymore. Hopefully a local shop can still get them because I will continue to run them unless I get aftermarket wheels which would be summer tires only.
  10. 1st night in the new place 5 days after closing! Was able to move 90% of our stuff yesterday in 2 trips. But this is all after a new hvac unit that set us back ~$4k. Damn inspector screwed us there. Unfortunately I wasn't able to follow up after the inspection was done due to work, and sure enough day 1 we find out it's not working right and then on Monday had a pro come check it out and the compressor was shot. But we did get the house for almost $30k under the appraisal value so we expected more things to be wrong *knock on wood*. Now to paint, I know should have before moving in but her mom wants to pay a professional painter, and honestly that's fine with me.
  11. So IQ performance over in Russia has been working on a new divorced DP. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhgwJkVlWYb/
  12. Finally closing on the GT's new, covered, parking spot this Friday. Oh and the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home on a level 1 acre lot that goes with it! Only down side is gravel driveway but that can be changed.
  13. Newest addition to the Subaru work gang on the far left There's actually a couple more converts of mine but can't get him in this pic. The company controller purchased a 6th generation legacy not long after I pick up the LGT. I'm hoping to get her to bring it in one day so I can get a photo shoot of all of the Subaru's before she retires later this year.
  14. I made it 130k on the stock clutch but the TOB fork failed (pivot ball punched through the fork) which caused the clutch and TOB to go, the TOB honestly needed changed @ 90k but it didn't sound any different then, as it did the day I took it out. I bet I could of made it another 20k+ easy if the fork didn't fail.
  15. So the wife and I got 30 years of "bad news" today. I kid it's actually great news! As some of you may recall we have been house shopping for a while but just really started veiwing homes after Christmas. We were starting to get frustrated because everything that was move in ready, in the location we wanted, fit our needs and our budget, would always sell before we could even veiw them due to our work schedules only giving us 2 weekends a month to do viewings. So I had 9 days PTO left over from last year and figured I would go ahead and use them to try and get quite a few viewings in over the 12 day period. So last Thursday I happen to see this place show up on Zillow and the realtor we had been working with the few weeks prior was just to slow getting viewings set up and I knew this place would go quick like the others had. So I called the listing agent instead and got a veiwing setup for the next day (Friday) when the misses got off and by the time we got there 2 offers were already in and 4 people showed up (un scheduled) while we were in the middle of viewing and even asked if they could come in...smh... So we put our offer in immediately after we looked it over because we knew another one wouldn't come up like this. Of course we had some other viewing setup over the weekend just as a fall back plan and they turned out to be lemons. So 1 more day goes by (Saturday now) and 2 more offers came in and of course the seller wanted best offer, so the bidding war began. We ended up with our final offer close to asking price but the apprasial was 25k more then asking price so it wasn't terrible. Then we had to get the pre-approval letter from our credit union, then 3 hours later the realtor called and said they accepted our offer. All in all it had everything we wanted and then some. Well everything but a garage, however it has a 2 car car port and there's enough room on the 1 acre lot to move that somewhere else and make a single car detached garage and then build a 2 car/frog attached garage. So now thats done hopefully by fall I can start planning and gathering parts for an engine/stage 2 build!
  16. I too am house shopping for the first time but have some experience through consulting friends and family on home purchases. Other than what you already have make sure you check into first time home buyers grants/loans, if it's your first time buyer of course. There are many grants and options available to first time buyers where you can litterally pay nothing down and still not have to pay PMI. Also be sure to get on Zillow and get a list of homes you like before hitting up the realtors 99% of them will send you houses publicly listed so why waste time waiting on thier suggestions which will most likely be thier highest potential profit house first then when you go through all those and dent they get into the fair priced stuff, been playimg the realtors game for months now. Don't let them pressure you in anyway and if they aren't working hard for you find another one because any realtor can show you any house wether it's their listing or not. And last don't be afraid of foreclosures some lenders will help finance them as well, especially if the lender owns the foreclosure. We use a local credit union and they gave us a list of foreclosures they had and most of them were not listed for sale.
  17. Yeah to swap out that thing that looks like a lower cam shaft because it snapped due to stress and the 12 bearing surfaces that go along with it and the crank looking thing in the middle. I do give them credit its an amazing idea to have variable compression ratios but the design just seems flawed. I could be wrong and this thing could be the next 45mpg turbo with a fun side I guess we wait and see.
  18. So yeah... https://www.infinitiusa.com/now/technology/vc-turbo-engine Anyone really see this becoming a thing outside Infiniti?
  19. I knew there was another company that had wheels almost identcal to these new Ampliforms but couldn't figure it out to save my life!
  20. Per a couple authorized resellers listings (although all are out of stock) 17x8 - $180 17x9 - $185 18x8.5 - $215
  21. There's some new Konig flow forms on pre sale now called "Ampliform". They come in 2 pretty colors but there's only 3 sizes in 5x100 atm, 17×8, 17x9, and 18x8.5. https://konigwheels.com/wheels/flow-formed-wheels/ampliform/
  22. ^ I 2nd that my trip meter hit 4444 today. But there's fresh snow on the ground so I guess I'll wait till its 64° on Sunday.
