  1. You'll be 100% fine. kayslay's wheels are same spec (19x8.5) with +35 offset so "poke" 15mm more than the ET50 you're looking at and he had no rubbing at stock height. If I was getting wheels again I'd go with a 19" as there's still a lot of tyre sidewall with 18's. Maybe on a gen5 but us gen6's have a lot more room under our guards.
  2. Quick update. I've run through a couple of tanks of higher octane fuel and rerun the 0-100 times, however there was virtually no difference. I then spoke to my tuner and he said that because it was dyno tuned running 91 there wasn't any additional timing available for getting gains from higher octane fuel. So although safe, there's no power gains to be had from running 95 or 98 at the moment. Next time Matt/Throttle Happy is in town I'll get an updated file with a small amount of timing advance which will give me some power gains on 95 octane fuel which is what I run most of the time (wherever it is available). Also went back to the exhaust shop and had a larger resonator fitted which has quietened it down a lot without impacting on the performance. Happy days
  3. time for a save.. or anyone else with a photo at this stage will get my vote
  4. I thought you guys had diners on every corner. Surely it shouldn't be too hard to take a quick snap! Fiatz get ready to post up a "save" photo as we're into the final 24 hours of the challenge.
  5. OK we have a winner!!! Congratulations to Fiatz79 on your first photo challenge win [emoji3] Now give yourself a point and post a new challenge [emoji106] Robbie if you have a save photo lined up its best to post it up before the new challenge starts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. No It's fine. We have had this problem for a little while now with less involvement. It certainly is a challenge that most people could easily complete. Just get ready to take a "save" photo if nobody completes the challenge in 48 hours. Officially you then have another 24 hours to complete the challenge yourself. If no one posts up a photo then you lose the point and have to set a new challenge. If you "save" yourself then you just don't lose a point (scores stay the same) and get to set another challenge. I'm sure laz or someone will be getting something to eat later today. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. It's your win SubieN8. Whoever is the first to 4 "thanks" wins. So even if you're not the first to post up if people think your photo is best you can still win. Just copy/paste the previous scores and give yourself a point. Plus post up a new challenge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Yes RobbieGT you can either post up a photo and not lose a point OR lose a point and just post a new challenge. The idea is to stop people from posting impossible challenges like a pic of your Legacy on the moon. I don't think the challenge was too hard - just need a bit more participation....
  15. Here's the rest of the times: It's repeatably running in the low 8's high 7's. I think with high octane fuel it should (hopefully) be averaging in the high 7's.
  16. Times should improve a bit once I get rid of the 91 octane which is in the tank at the moment and fill up with 95.
  17. Yes CEL is fixed. Just went out on the highway to run a few 0-100's and average is now 8.0 with some pretty consistent runs between 7.9 and 8.1. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160226/97c49fc9e546c284e47dfe2e9588e9b5.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160226/f5d66696bdf6802c29876389357a0b79.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yes the CVT is/was always the concern. That is why I am stopping here in terms of any additional power mods. There is usually a decent safety margin designed into vehicle components and I am prepared to push it a bit. There won't be any supercharger getting fitted if anyone is wondering. 19. Yes and I've superimposed the results from today on top of the old curve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Retune done. A lot more torque - particularly low down. Dyno results below, however rev 2 tune with headers was run with 91 octane and stock was with 95. Even still the tuned version performs quite a bit better.
  21. Retune done. A lot more torque - right across the rev range. I've only driven around the block tonight so I'll get to drive it a bit more over the weekend and hopefully get out and do some timed runs also. Dyno results below, however rev 2 tune with headers was run with 91 octane and stock was with 95. Even still the tuned version performs quite a bit better. Will look to run a couple of tanks of 95 and then rerun the dyno.
  22. Sizes that fit/work: 18x8.5 ET45-55 (WRX/STI size - quite a few running these) 19x8.5 ET45-55 (same offset as you're running same width as above) 19x9 ET50 If you run 19x8.5 ET35 you may need to roll your guards to avoid rubbing. These will sit out 20mm more than the WRX/STI fitment of ET55.
  23. Just a word of caution for anyone changing headers/high flow cat as it likely will result in a CEL and the engine running in a reduced power mode. I can live with the warning lights on the dash for a short time but the main problem is it also disables a number of other features including cruise control. I currently have a yellow Eyesight warning as well as stability control disabled and lane departure warning. The gear selector also flashes and there's a whole lot of beeps when you turn it on. This will hopefully all get permanently fixed with the retune. I believe the issue is with the high flow cat and the O2 sensor going into "fault". I can work around this for the short term by disconnecting the battery which resets the ECU but the fault comes back again after20-30 minutes of driving. This probably would have been ok if I was just driving around the city but I've had some long country trips to do in the last 2 weeks so have swapped cars with my wife until the end of the week. Cruise control is a almost a necessity on the highway. Which brings me to the other downside is that my wife almost ran out of petrol as she didn't notice the fuel was low and with all the fault lights the low petrol indicator kind of got missed [emoji51] Anyway all should be good in a couple of days... fingers crossed!!! 24. Yes the total build tends to gets lost in the "What did you do to you 6th Gen" thread. So I think if you're doing a bit more than a few basic mods then a build thread has some value especially if it happens over the life of the ownership of your car. Back on topic dyno tune is booked for Friday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. OK Robbie you got this one!!! Though my question is why are you back at a service centre if you have a 2016 car??
