  1. ah crap! I have seen those before as well, and I don't know why I did not remember. It must have been the uncomfortable position I was in that made me give up. Well it is done, and when it is time to go back (in three years) I may soder them back together. I was windering why it was taking me so much to take them off. X
  2. I try to do the pin uninstall today, and it proved to be really hard, and I was not able to take off the pins. This was with really small screwdrivers and everything, it was just too damn hard for me. I ended up just cutting the cables and taping them off. Just for testing purposes I cut the brown cable first. That disabled the headlights, but not the parking lights, or the DRL light on the dashboard. Then I cut the blue with black stripe and that got rid of everything. It is a shame that you can't just disconnected it like previous years. I took some phone pics, but they came out too dark. Anyway, I am now DRLess which is good, and now I will be installing my HID's tomorrow. X
  3. I will be doing my 07 today, and funny thing is that today is the first day I driven my car during the day and I noticed what everyone was saying about the front parking lights being on as well as teh headlights. So if I am to guess teh brown disables teh headlights, and the blue with black disables teh parking lights. I will try to take pics today and test the theory as well. X
  4. haha gotcha. I guess the better question is does it have dual zones so let's say if you had passenger in the back you can do another screen to allow them to watch movies while you have control of GPS upfront? I had a clarion system that did this well back in the days. X
  5. Awesome! Can you play video on the top screen while doing navigation on the bottom? If so that is a great system! X
  6. When I do mine next week I will post pics. I do have pics of the brown cable on another thread when I was trying to get teh high beams to be DRL's. X
  7. I believe someone did, and if I am not mistaken you have to cut the brown wire since Subaru made it a single plug for 2007. X
  8. Hahaha, that is great! I actually always take 39th st, but I was on my way to 31st street since 39th was so packed. I should have taken 37th since everywhere it was packed. It is great to know that it is me since it is hard to see another white LGT in NYC. X
  9. Yup, I was with my GF. We were hading to NJ and needed to make it there quick. Where you in your car or on foot? X
  10. Hey, I think I have been spotted! I was on my way to Jersey in a rush! White LGT here with tinted windows. X
  11. Hey, I spotted you a while back and posted here on this thread. I was right next to you at a light at River Rd., but of course you though it was a camry next to you so you did not see me. X
  12. Oh, good deal. I was actually thinking of going to the hand wash near me on woodhaven blvd. I have to give the one you mention a try. The one I used to go to got raised to $13, and it got suckier. X
  13. ^^^ Oh nice old skooler!! lol If not a meAt, then at least a caravan going north to the Palisades one. X
  14. I need a wash too, but the freaking weather is all over the place, plus the car wash places around here just go too expensive! I aso saw a SWP, tints, lowered with stock rims and two huge shinny mufflers on 67th Ave and Queens Blvd. X
  15. Nice, so many Queens peeps! We should have a Queens meet at some point! X
  16. I was in Manhattan today around that area, and I have a White LGT, but I have a bike rack on top. I spotted a Atlantic Blue wagon in Queens on 108th Street and LIE the other day. He had tints and we both glanced at each other. X
  17. Oh sorry about that. I need to get a 1 OHM 60 Watt resistor, which are harder to get, and I have been somewhat busy recently. For the blue light I believe the cable needs to be tapped further up from it, but that is going to be a little bit more of a challenge from looking at the diagrams. The high beams are as bright as any GM car during DRL's operation since they are running at 12.5 Volts. I liket to bring them down to 10 V, and that is why I need the resistor. I will work on this once again when the weather gets warmer. Too much damn snow out there. X
  18. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22346&page=3 I wrote instructions on how to do it here. X
  19. I saw this member tonight on River Road in Jersey:froggert We were both stopped at the light, and his car looked amazing! The whole setup was extremely nice. Pic form his profile: http://legacygt.com/forums/image.php?u=6354&dateline=1135866591&type=profile X
  20. Spotted Silver GT in Syosset LI today around 3:30 PM. It had tints and no wing. I was the white one with HID's and tints. Anyone here? X
  21. Check out this thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=365165&postcount=20 You will only have to switch the brown cable and you should be all set. X
  22. What do you want to do? Add a switch to turn them on and off? If so then switch out the brown cable in the drl plug that gets disconnected (white plug) I am doing research to enable teh high-beams as DRL's and tonight I found some more info that I will be posting in the high beam drl thread. X
  23. Spotted a Silver GT with tints and it may have been lowered up in Yonkers. Spotted on Spruce St. I caught up to it but then we got to Van Cortland and it made a left, and I made a right. Sunday 10/23 about 6:00 PM. Anyone?
  24. Ok cool, just let me know when and where and I am there! X
  25. Bluechip you are such an attention whore that everybody spots you! LOL! But my ex lives on 165th around the hospital, so if I was still going out with her, then we would have probably spotted each other many times! X
