  2. +1 because there is no shifting in a CVT. Unless he means going from reverse to forward? X
  3. Response from a Subaru tech in another forums: http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f88/anyone-figure-out-how-do-drain-fill-new-cvt-trans-182825/index2.html#post1936193 This is not your father's CVT. X
  4. 24k+ on my '12. No issues what so ever. As smooth as the first day I drove it. I thought the oil in the CVT was lifetime? X
  5. Also is there anything special that needs to be done to break in the clutch? X
  6. The oem exedy from mazdapartsonline.com I don't see a need for any upgrades on stock horsepower. I got it for $107. I think it was a fair price. X
  7. Getting a new clutch on the Miata. Here are pics of my freshly resurfaced flywheel and new main seal. http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg548/deexboy/null_zps861b2473.jpg http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg548/deexboy/null_zpsb602f2f4.jpg That new gasket should end all my oil leaks. The original clutch lasted 87K miles and 23 years! Can't wait to get it back today! X
  8. IIRC 2007 and up needs to have the brown cable cut as well. Blue one only works on the 05. Check for 07+ DRL disable. It will say if it is the brown one as well. X
  9. They do make the tr in 25 offset. You have to search it differently iirc. X
  10. That is why I love my oil pressure gauge. It is the real thing on the first gens. I also love how mechanical the whole car is. X
  11. I also picked up a 90' NA last December. It was sitting for a few years in Florida so a lot of work has been done to it. I found a few in the junkyard so I have been able to get parts cheap. The guy that sold it to me is a Miata enthusiast so he did a lot of work before selling it. I had to replace the ecu, air flow sensor, air bag sensor, one radiator fan, hoses including a little rubber pljg on the left side of the engine that if it breaks It will ruin your day. Timing belt as well as gaskets along with woodruff key and short nose bolt have been replaced as well. A few other things that I can't remember. I spent ~$100 at the pull and pay and got all the replacement parts. Parts are cheap for this car. Mine now has 80k miles and love driving it in this weather. It is now my DD. http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg548/deexboy/2EE12BED-EE12-451E-9FF5-EBB2572AE315-1188-00000105FDD43AC6.jpg X

  13. http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=91305&d=1287277318 This one pic definitely does not look right. I can only imagine the stress the bearings are going through! I wish there was an animated gif depicting the suffering! And what happens under hard cornering? Just wondering. X
  14. You are just paying some immigrants to do this for you, and then you just go around the weekends and take pics right? Very nice. X
  15. I usually do not like flat black on any car, but your wrap came out looking amazing. I would love to see it in person to really take it in. Very nice work. X
  16. How much time have you invested in this project so far? I love it. X
  17. Is hard to do that with video editing and CGI software! I can't wait to see it finished! X
  18. That looks amazing! You are going to need tinted windows! X
  19. Nice! Is that an air bubble on the trunk lid? X
  20. from the pics it looks like you did your gas cap as well. Nice job so far. X
  21. Nice! I like you hair dryer! A lady that is a pro wrapper says she can wrap an average size full car in two full 8 hour days. Let's se how long it'll take you. You should take a note of time for each piece you wrap. GL X
