  1. Race wagon? This is your dream come true.
  2. Are you not parting out your original wagon's shell? I'd like to buy the Momo shift knob if you've got it.
  3. Any chance you've got the OEM Momo shift knob in there?
  4. Said on the site. 400 something. Too lazy to reopen.
  5. Guys, I know where his wagon is being stored. Since he can't read this, let's organize a robbery. I'll happily donate my black wing from my wagon. He'll never know what happened!
  6. Just grab the top of it with pliers and pull. That's what I would have told him.
  7. 'sup with the odd reflection on your driver's window?
  8. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/5402951247.html Let's all go in on this and smog ourselves
  9. I actually can't remember. I began etuning my car with Cryo when the motor went. When HMS rebuilt it they just took whatever map was on the car and turned down the boost and added a rev limiter. What I can't remember is if I flashed it back to stock or not before I parked it in April. I'm pretty sure it was on a stock tune. But I'm not positive.
  10. Wondering this too. You don't have to weld the stock heat shield to get it on, there's just a portion you cut off and otherwise you can bolt it on with the factory heatshield bracket that attaches to the upper DP bolts. Maybe next time I'll try it for shits and giggles. Although, my TBE makes it pretty obvious it's not stock. I got the stock DP put on today (shoutout to Rebourne for hooking me up). It sounds noticeably tamer...I don't like it. Smog check tomorrow. Silly question for you all but CA's DMV website isn't very helpful - do I need to get a California license to register my car here? Not really interested in paying for it right now. I'd like to hold on to my WA license for a bit to save some cash.
  11. Can't believe I just found this. I'm going to HMS tomorrow to have them look at all of the oil that's on the bottom side of my car. I'll see if they by chance the old pistons from my car aren't too buried in their scrap pile.
  12. If you can find one with a blown motor that is ideal. Then you can pick it up for cheap, build it from the ground up into a reliable car and save much headache later on. A year on January 2nd. I haven't driven it since April 18th. Should be having it back with a new motor on Wednesday.
  13. I'm going to be the Downer Debby and forewarn you about maintenance issues with these cars. It can get expensive quickly. Read up on what it takes to own these cars. This is coming from someone who has sank $8000 in repairs in his because he didn't research or pay close attention to the car he bought. But the right cars are out there, you just have to know what to look for to determine that it's been taken care of properly. Regular ideals of car maintenance do not apply to these cars. That being said...once you own it you'll love it. I love mine and once It's got its new engine it will be a reliable mode of transportation.
  14. I am aware of these facts. It seemed off to me that someone would be putting 16s on a Saabaru but what do I know. And I asked in hopes of getting pics of '16 WRX wheels installed on said Saabaru.
  15. Trade for an STi? Gross. He doesn't deserve that car.
  16. Did you mean to say '16 WRX wheels? If so, post pics please! I want someone to put '16 STi wheels on a 4th gen. I think it'd be super sexy.
  17. Almost! The motor is pulled, more parts were bought, and the new ETA is 1 to 1-1/2 weeks. I'm gonna say Monday after next to be safe. I often feel unwelcome there in the swarm of STi bros.
