  1. why need a D2S bulb HID kit when there's like a billion other H1, H3, H7 or 9003 to 9007 based HID kits out there that are plug and play? Is there something that I am missing or is there something about must having a S2S or D2S bulb?? Keefe
  2. You have to order the OE rear windshield, the motor assembly and wiring from Subaru of Japan to make it work for the car. Expect to pay about $700 to $1000 just for that fitment. Keefe
  3. On the sedan in Japan, the car has rear winshield wipers, so good luck on finding a JDM Legacy in NZ or USA. I doubt I have seen anywhere that has a stock I/C spray button. I do know that some of the other non-USA models have additional features on the car for that button. In the USA, it's just a dummy/blank panel that you can just drill through and install your own switch/led or jack that you want to install on it. Keefe
  4. depending on the type and model of the car, some BP/BLs have rear windshield wipers, some have other options as well, (I believe a JDM model has something for that switch). Keefe
  5. Just disconnect the negative terminal on the battery and step on the brakes, put the keys in the ignition and flip it to the 2nd position (ON) to ensure NOTHING on the instrument cluster is on. I dont think you have go through ALL stated above. Keefe
  6. nah, the best way to purge all memory is by undoing the neg off the battery, push on the brakes to discharge the entire car, then put the neg back on to battery. It's also known as the "dyno-purge" to do it this way for reflashing or any other electrical mod. Keefe
  7. 1156 is a twist bulb, 7440 is the push in type.. those are model numbers of the type of bulb. I believe the GT uses 1156 up front.. (1157 are dual filament bulbs typically used for brake lights for one filament and parking lights for the other filament). I opt to buy PIAA bulbs at a store.. it's easier to return for warranty reasons.. (since PIAA USA has a 1-year manufacturer warranty on them). Keefe
  8. Yes, PIAA has a set now.. the 'harder to find' Polarg chrome lens with amber lighting is a harder one to find... http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-Miniature.html Keefe
  9. Chrome piece on the side skirt Alex. Keefe
  10. Very awesome write-up! Just one thing.. it's 160F for a few mins, not 250F, or you'll have headlight cookies in 10 mins. Keefe
