  1. Im still holding out hope. If i end up arranging the funds to get everything all together and tuned I'll work around the issues. It has worked for a couple of people. Also, stock midpipe with cans only was suggested, not sure if anyone has done that.
  2. Its not a big deal, but people dont read and they see an email and start emailing. most people will click on a link before going to search for an email especially when its in a post that implies a group buy.
  3. I've been given the go ahead, check the group buy forum later today (waiting on some info from paul @ primitive) and tell your friends! jackal, can you delete the info you sent earlier? I dont want anyone seeing his email address and communicating outside of the group buy thread. No need to annoy the man who is giving us an awesome deal!
  4. I've already got enough interest for the first round of pricing, one more and we're in the second tier. Just waiting to hear back from SBT but from previous conversations with him I think we're good. Either way I'll be doing it and quickly. Jackal thanks again and sorry for jacking the thread, once it gets going maybe the mods can remove these posts since they're irrelevant or move them to the new thread.
  5. Awesome news, let me pass this by the powers that be on this site and I'll get a thread up asap! Edit: For all those interested, I've reached out to SBT to get his ideas/blessing. if you are interested please just shoot me a PM indicating you're interested. please dont shoot me any personal info or questions. If approved I'll start a thread and everything will be done out in the open in one place so its easy to follow. I will also find out if this will only be for 5th gens or for all models so we can include others as well.
  6. You're the man Jackal! If he comes up with a minimum required for him to sell I'll be happy to do the legwork of starting the group buy thread and all the followup's etc...
  7. Im pretty sure we can get 5 people together, I know of two others besides myself who are looking to get one.
  8. That sounds awesome smoove, no more creep with the NamelessDP? Im currently having second thoughts about what I will be doing over the next year with the leggy. Trying to put a ring on a finger and get a house and I have this beautiful DP sitting in storage but also in need of some other more necessary parts like clutch and CBE (stock is getting rusty). Im not 100% I want to do this but if I were to part with my nameless DP for 600 would anyone be interested?
  9. I can't compete but I can definitely keep up, I've got a dashcam, go pro car mount, and a gf willing to video and take rolling shots [emoji2]
  10. I meant getting it replaced at a glass shop. I've broken a few mirrors on delivery trucks and most glass shops will replace them for a fraction of the cost of getting OEM. Completely legal and work as intended.
  11. Yes but won't be able to see. Mirrors are swapped for rhd The glass is easily replaceable.
  12. OK, just to recap since this is getting out of hand, the 2010 mirrors are fixed, aka, no folding, manual or powered. The only power option you have in the US is to position the mirror itself and/or to heat the mirror. If you want to have a mirror you can fold manually you need to buy one of these kits: SOA635085 - non heated SOA635086 - heated but if you want one that power folds, go to japan.
  13. I looked it up and found the part numbers for the kit, considering mine don't move at all I think it's worth it even if I have to do it manually. 150 for the kit at half price is a good deal.
  14. I had no idea! Just looked it up, if they have a set I can snag em to make sure you get it and if they have two I'll get one too!
  15. It's only overstock but if it's there you'll get the discount, if it's not they'll probably work out a deal so it's probably worth a call
  16. If you're in the Eastern Mass area and need any stock parts for your Legacy, head on over to North Reading Subaru, 50% off any in stock parts, picked up two new strut mounts for 70 bucks today! http://www.northreadingsubaru.com/specials/service.htm?osa_did=C0020129&osa_bid=1391864&osa_uid=e1c2bfbe03b3&Utm_source=SubaruFuel&Utm_medium=email&Utm_content=servicecouponspage&Utm_campaign=NLR&osa_cid=P00008-NLR&osa_origin=Newsletter+[email%2c+black]_Navigation+Horizontal+Widget&osa_year=2016&osa_month=4&osa_type=Widget+[navigation%2c+horizontal]&osa_dest=servicecouponspage&osa_topic=servicecouponspage&osa_style=link
  17. I think with the right tools and a little care porting the turbo isnt so bad. Not tempted to give it a shot yourself? Lining up the flapper to the hole is the biggest piece but it can be marked easily and slowly but surely you'll bore that hole out
  18. Just poking a little fun, I thought about going for the ts badge I saw someone post recently, maybe you? , but I'm sticking with my b4 badge
  19. Anyone ever see a 3rd gen lgt on route 3 with a black/neon green combo? Kinda looks like this but not so "tastefully" done, and obviously not an Audi. I've seen it going south in the morning a few times this month already. Im curious about it. http://carzz.co/audi-s5-in-neongreen-black-cars-carzz_182571_xl.jpg
  20. Question on porting...if you port, then want to revert to stock, are you SOL, or does it make no difference, possibly even helping?
  21. I didnt think the top housing would be necessary but I was unsure of the bottom wastegate portion, and definitely ceramic. Im not too familiar with the TiAL products but 347 is definitely high grade so I guess no worries there! Congrats on the new piece, definitely makes me interested if I need to correct any boost issues when working with my new DP this winter without porting.
