  1. I had thought about doing this a while ago, having a higher suspension for the winter and lower for the summer. Seeing you actually do it has confirmed it even more in my mind. Cant wait to see what set of rims you go with, think it looks great!

  4. Thanks man, thats a ton of good info! So basically stick to the autocross/solo days and I should be able to get in as a novice? I might not be able to run this weekend but I think I'll go to check it out. Looks like there will be a couple of events in September I can make.

  6. I noticed the GT hasnt been around lately.
  7. Spotted a blue 5th gen on the ramp from 3 south that turns into 128 north this morning, could only see the scoop and spoiler because of those guardrails

  10. I heard that with a 24mm RSB and 26mm FSB I would be able to achieve up to 2 g's of force on hairpin turns with zero understeer. jk

  12. OK dont beat me up, this is why I come here, to learn more. I've only had the car less than a year and I'm the type who will use everything till its last day unless I need it. thanks for the tips, I'll look into some better tires for next year.
  13. Currently Im running the Continental ContiSportContacts on my stock rims. I've got a few months left on them and theyve done pretty well but I'm riding these out until the winter, throwing my winters on my stocks and looking for new tires for next summer, rims as well. I was looking at the Extremem Contact DW instead of the DWS because of treadlife since I like Continental for the price. Suggestions?

  15. Thanks, I'll take that route as for now Im just buying everything. And understeer was never my main concern, more just trying to achieve that "ride on rails" feel the right way.
  16. I totally agree, the shocks are coming whenever GTEASER is free, the swaybar is just added stiffness unless you think, outside of shocks, I should go for something else first?
  17. I was curious how that would work so thanks for clearing that up. I want to step up the car slowly so I can get better control as the HP and stability go up so that seals the deal.
  18. Spotted a black 5th gen non gt off Brattle St in cambridge, all blacked out, red accented interior, black rims, really liked the look

  20. You know I was happy enough with the fact that I had researched the springs I want and now all this info comes out which only makes me keep thinking. This site not only enables my need for wanting more toys, it backorders and rainchecks my ideas so my wallet stays empty!
  21. I think I've officially been turned off by the RCE/Bilstein combination due to the lack of damper. The bumpy roads around here I cant even go fast on because of traffic so the konis may well do it best. Anyone have any thoughts on the Eibach/Bilsten combo vs the RCE/koni combo? I've already hit up GTEASER to discuss the koni setup so unless someone has something else to add I think I've got my plan ready to execute. oh and if anyone wants to donate money to my car I'll add a sticker with your screenname on the LGT
