  1. Give them a call and schedule something. I really want to get this thing mounted on my car!!
  2. I just got off the phone with Boomba, they said they would be happy to have a Legacy come over.
  3. Anyone near O'Hare Airport interested in driving down to Boomba racing to check out if their throttle bodies would fit on our 6thGens? Also, does anyone know if we share anything in common with the WRX throttle body?
  4. Does anyone know if there is a vendor in R&D for a FSB for us 6Genners?
  5. I forgot to add! A week after getting my first tune, I got two different versions of a retune emailed to me. I drove around for 20 minutes on the original tune, stopped, pulled out my laptop, uploaded version 1a, then drove around for another 20 minutes, then uploaded 1b, and drove around for another 20 minutes. It takes about 2 minutes to upload each tune. C'mon guys, it doesn't get better than this!!!
  6. I got my first tune from TH about a week or two ago. Before I give you my review, let me say this: EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT HAS A LEGACY NEEDS TO GET HIS TUNE. :spin::spin::spin::spin: Ok, now for serious business. This tune causes the car to behave how I hoped the car would before I bought it. The Legacy is by no means a racecar, no matter how hard I try to make it one but I did expect a quick, agile, "luxury" Subaru. I think we can all agree the Legacy is really comfortable, so the "luxury" part is covered. I think we can also all agree on the fact that this car is slow enough to lose in a race against an old woman. Matt's tune really brought a lot of life to this car. The car whips a little more on the throttle, it has some more oomph, and can actually hang with its peers on the highway. I also get some better economy on the highway. I think my favorite part about working with Matt is that he will continue to send you retunes as he learns more about the car. Talk about value? Eventually after the lot of retunes have been dished out, each tune will probably have costed 40USD, but will be worth a crap ton more. Also keep in mind, the more 6th genners that support him, and work with him, the more information he can pull out from our systems. I say everyone gets on board and dishes out the money for this tune, whether you want to use it to go faster, or get better mileage, I promise you, you will fall in love all over again.
  7. Also, look up the "Boss-Complete" piece from the WRX assembly. You will need this - thank you 15LegacyRyan for this wisdom.
  8. That's what I was figuring, hopefully it cures the noise. Also, the clacking is very infrequent.
  9. It definitely is not a 100% clean install, that I expected from the beginning, but in my opinion, does work well, and is 95% there. Until we get a front sway bar made, I will definitely be keeping this on.
  10. When I did the install, the bushings were not closing around the bar 100%. I also had my little cousin take these pics for me, so I have not looked at the bushings myself, but from the photos, they do look bent up a bit. Any idea why this would happen?
  11. Originally, I had a set of shorter end links on, and they were interfering with the control arms. That is where the marks on the sway bar came from. After putting in the current(longer) end links, there is no interference at all with the control arms. Now, the only (slight) problem, is that since the middle of the sway bar (in between the bends) is a little too short, the sway bar clacks onto the metal frame underneath it. Check the third photo, you can see a little metal wear underneath the bar. Other than that, no problems whatsoever. I am loving the turning power!!
  12. To be honest, it's barely noticeable. Sure the needle moves a little quicker throughout the range, and the engine is a little more responsive, but hey, now I know my pulley won't come apart. I didn't do this mod myself. I've done everything else, but I didn't want to touch this one. Watched videos I how to change it out and just didn't want to mess anything up causing permanent(expensive) damage. It cost me $100 at the shop. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  13. Me and Ryan both have it installed. Props to him btw, he gave me the key to the install.
  14. A few thoughts on the upgrade. Handling is sick. Seriously, sick. I haven't driven a car with this kind of comfortable stability, maybe a 2004 325xi, but even that wasn't as comfortable. Then again, I could just be in the honeymoon phase of the upgrade When driving through the city, I hear a clicking noise (metal on metal). It's not frequent at all. I think (most likely) that this may either be the angled part of the bar clicking on the metal frame underneath it, or the 10mm stud of the end link clicking around in the 12mm hole of the strut, where it mounts. I doubt it is the second, and since it is a more expensive fix, I am going to put rubber bump mounts under the bar, so that they do not hit the corner of the metal frame. Also, still haven't installed the two gold rings that lock the sway bar from side to side, since it was such a tight fit. I will balance out the bar and put those locks on, then take some pics, and get an update out.
  15. I ran a tailor's tape measure around both bars. Based on the circumference formula, the stock bar measures ≈22mm. I will pull my wheels off this weekend and get you all some pics.
  16. Front sway bar officially upgraded. I used this sway bar: http://www.rallitek.com/sway-bars/2731-whiteline-adjustable-front-sway-bar-24mm-sti-2008-2014-wrx-2011-2014-forester-xt-2009-2013.html?search_query=Whiteline+Adjustable+Front+Sway+Bar+24mm+-+STI+2008-2014+%2F+WRX+2011-2014+%2F+Forester+XT+2009-2013&results=1 It didn't work with the stock end links, so I had to order these: http://superpro.suspension.parts/trc10245 Handling is tight as hell! :D:D:D:D
  17. Was gonna wait for my Nameless pipe to come in, but they are taking forever. TH, I am sending you a pm about it now.
  18. Let me start off by saying I have no idea how tunes work, yet. I am really curious if there is a way to set the CVT so that there are 8 false gears instead of 6. Does anyone have any thoughts on if this would improve anything?
