  1. Guys, just an update. I'm gonna hold off on the TB for a little. After some thinking, I realized that I actually need a new set of rotors and brakes and will be putting on the WRX kit. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  2. I don't know the answer to that. If I had to guess, I would say no though. Anyways I'm at 45k miles so I'm good to go. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  3. LOL Please post a photo of the black servo motor on the side of your 3.6 throttle body when you get a chance. Let's confirm if it's bolt on or snap on. Yes, all servo motor lives matter.
  4. Just to confirm, The 2.5 & 3.6 share the same throttle body. Both will "physically" allow the Boomba upgrade to fit. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk

There is no hope. Sorry Robbie, no shiny new TB for Kwanzaa.
  6. End links are adjustable. I do think it may be the bushings. It rained today and the bushings were creaking. That along with the ever so slight crushed shape lead me to think they are trash or installed wrong. I'll get the bar off tomorrow and reinstall it. Hopefully I'll remember to take measurements of the stock and aftermarket bars and compare. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  7. Aotus, sorry for the snappy post. I actually appreciate all the feedback you've given on this post already. It's been helpful and positive. I just truly get irked when someone shuts something down without trying all alternatives. It's just the mad scientist in me! Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  8. According to Boomba engineers, our throttle body is a physical match. They do not support me doing the install (they are covering their assess) but have confirmed physically it will fit. Throttle happy is also going to create a base tune for me so that I can run the tune along with the TB in one shot and have less of a chance of leaning out the motor. Will update you soon! 9. I joined when I first got the Legacy about two years ago, but only lately decided to really get crazy with mods and start trying things out. That's when I started posting. I kind of got tired waiting around for the "you try this first and we'll follow suit attitude," and figured, "all these guys are probably old farts [emoji13] so why don't I try to make some waves." Seriously though, I know a lot of people on this forum have other financial and scheduling obligations like families to feed so I figured I'd put my money into it since I have no financial obligations and test my ability to mess with things. Thanks for the recognition by the way! I'm in it just the same as all of you guys. I'm just one guy on this forum. My knowledge is only as good as the information I get from all of you, honestly! All for the love of the Legacy baby!
  10. What do I want? To try and benefit the community with a new mod. Take your sourpuss attitude and get in the backseat, if you can't benefit the people trying to drive this community forward. I'm trying to rule out everything before I just say nope, it doesn't work. But when I do, sure as hell I'll try another bar, and try all options on that one too. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  11. Random crazy thought. Since this is only happening over depressions and not bumps, could it possibly be that the endlinks I have on are not letting the shocks/strut extend fully, yet are allowing them to compress?
  12. So I'm driving in NYC, and as I go over deep manholes there is no click or clank. Only a single tire is going over. But when I go over the bumpy even roads of the Bronx, I hear the clicking. So over shallow depressions the click is there and over deep depressions the click is nowhere to be heard. Any insight? Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  13. Anyone here know anyone with an STI/WRX with an aftermarket front bar? Would be nice to have them check the length of the bar on the straight middle piece from left angle to right angle (going across the whole length of the middle) on both the front and back of it, just to get an idea of how it fits with our stock bar.
  14. Just based on the little bends, I dont think so. I will check when I get home, but I think our bars have little bends towards the front of the car. I'll update with pics.
  15. Since I have the aftermarket bar in, I will ship them my bar. I will call them tomorrow and talk to them.
  16. How would the end link tap the sway bar? Also, the end link and sway bar dont come into contact with the tie rod. Maybe under serious bumps, but even under heavy load (my fat cousin) they do not come close enough to each other.
  17. Childish tendencies are kicking in real hard right now. I am most likely going to order the TB tonight or tomorrow and pop it on and give you guys some feedback.
  18. Da Roo will not be able to schedule with Boomba, is anyone else near O'Hare available to schedule with Boomba?
  19. In the meantime, order yourselves a nice shiny Tactrix cable! http://www.tactrix.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=17&Itemid=53 No, I am not affiliated with Tactrix in any way
  20. He is a busy man, give him a chance to respond.
  21. The initial cost is more than that, I was just speculating that after all the tunes he may end up sending you, the cost you pay once, will end up covering each of those many retunes.
  22. This scheduling is to confirm fitment. It is not confirmed yet.
