  1. Subscribed! FANTASTIC write up. I like they more people are messing around with things and coming up with some DIY stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah we ended up putting a locking washer on so I doubt it'll go anywhere. Only concern now is they I don't believe it is an SAE 8 bolt so my need to upgrade that to avoid any issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah you and me both.... Now I wonder though after doing sin reading is just threading a bolt through the hole even though it wasn't fully threaded in and placing a nut on the other side then torquing down gonna be good enough or do I need to thread the hole again and weld on a back piece? 4. Well that bolt specifically my friend did. The ones I did went in find. I think the bolt was just in at an angle as the bolts were only hand tightened and torqued after that. As we started torquing it was below the posted 28 ft ibs so definitely wasn't over tightened when that happened. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. End result; Frankenstein.... Not use to how it drives just yet; almost feels worse.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/20/a27ffc59f9232168d10e6aa0bc5c7c6f.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Well had to cut the bolt off; wasn't coming off as it was just spinning in the socket. Completely stripped it. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/20/88efee460f644364f8cda3b49a3d37af.jpg Ended up using a thicker bold and threading a nut on the pack side to secure it torquing it down to 28 ft ibs. 7. Need urgent help; tried I install 20mm sway bar; went to go torque the bolts after hand tightening and right at 20ft ibs it just started going down. Bolt is stripped. Can't get it out. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Awesome!!! Thank you very much for that information.
  9. Does anyone know what the torque specs for bushings and end links are? Looking to do this install soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Well got some great news today followed by a nice surprise. Nameless performance will be shipping out my exhaust tomorrow or the day after and I should have it by this weekend! A nice surprise along with the exhaust arriving by the weekend is they they actually plan on developing a mid-pipe in the near future (date unknown).
  11. To each their own... Sounds a lot better than no sound at all. It for sure will sound much better with a mid-pipe setup as well but it will do for the time being. You can always go the rout Grnlantern1 did and just slightly modify the Invidia exhaust system from the 5th gen.
  12. It was not this thread it was another that a lot of work was put into. I do not want to get into details as this is not the place. Thank you
  13. Nameless hard at work on some R&D. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/23/0563380b70e10223ea643394424ccaee.jpg Sound clip: https://instagram.com/p/4Kf-vExC_L/
  14. Yeah I'm sorry to; unfortunately no sense putting work into something that takes days/hours to do when it just gets pulled down.
  15. Hello all; due to difference of opinions between some people who I will refrain from mentioning I will no longer be updating this posting. If someone wishes to copy the information above and start a new thread please feel free to do so otherwise the above will no longer be updated.
  16. Great info guys thank you! It is very much appreciated.
  17. For those that are actually torquing the bolt down what is the spec for torque for what bolts...? I ordered the 20mm bar and will be installing shortly.
  18. Found $4 cheaper and with free shipping (savings of $10) on SMY Performance's Web Site http://smyperformance.com/index.php/jdm-sti-push-start-button.html
  19. Grlantern1 has a set of coilovers he will be putting on shortly and I am in the final stages of test fitting with another company; just don't have a date yet as I have to see when they are able to get the coilovers in. Follow me on Instagram @CT2015Legacy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Haha; well while I doubt it sounds like a Porsche I have gotta image that it's going to sound pretty BA but I will be the judge of that hopefully soon. Follow me on Instagram @CT2015Legacy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. That is awesome!! Something you've been working on? Follow me on Instagram @CT2015Legacy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Update for everyone; Jason at Nameless Performance informed me that it'll be another 2-3 weeks until they get a car in for test fitting (as long as he is a valuable). According to him he informed me that a 3.0 Legacy with the axel back system and 4" mufflers sounded like a Porsche. Can't wait to hear what their exhaust actually sounds like on the 3.5. 2.5 guys should be able to purchase a single muffler/pipe from nameless that'll bolt right up.
