So at the dealership now; guys who installed the update said he did it all correctly.... I kindly showed him the missing information did the Backup DB and explained that information should be their. His reply was that I have to make sure my phone is compatible with the head unit yada yada yada. Explained issues you guys were having along with other dealerships with the 2nd portion. Oh I would feel comfortable doing it; I work as a Technical Specialist at Apple so that isn't a concern I would just rather then do it haha. THANK GOD that it fixes that issue! That has been bothering me forever and I prefer to use my phones GPS anyways.

Have a warranty and don't have an empty hard drive. Can I even download this if I have a Mac? A lot of systems and stuff don't work with Mac's.

Just scheduled an appointment to go in tomorrow at 2:15p for this. Hopefully it resolves the annoying GPS location issue with my iPhone is plugged into the cars USB ports.

I'd say support the aftermarket company that actually cared enough to develop something for our car. I worked with both closely via email and both have access to Subaru dealership inventory that let them test fit products on the cars but RA is the only one that actually came out with something. AFE has been some kinda special.... I reached out to them almost 6 months ago about getting a group buy together twice and never got a call back from the person I was referred to nor a reply email. Then I called back a few months ago again and never received a response... Last time I talked with them they had no official kits from our car but that just means they didn't dyno test the current kits with our car (15-17) which WILL fit.

Hey at least they are coming out; id prefer a product that is flawless compared to one that is rushed. Install of these is gonna be a pretty penny so I'd rather them last. Added bonus is that these are actually coming! Never though a company would invest the time and I am esthetic that DD took the time to actually do this. Can't wait! Thank you for sharing! I went ahead and contacted the company and they confirmed fitment on the 2.5 and Outback's. Appreciate you posting up! Awesome find!
