  1. Passed by a LGT in my LGT on main street Flemington NJ around 4pm yesterday.
  2. Yeah I had gauges in the cubby that I forgot about. Dealer wanted to charge me $125 to remove and reinstall them. I drove the car back home and took them out myself.
  3. Ha OK - but don't laugh. It was as primitive as you can get. Just 2 pieces of metal with a hole in the middle. Through the hole I put a very thin bolt. One side I just cut so it would fit between the cam gears. The second I had to cut to fit more precisely so it would be tight when bolted. I don't have a pic of it installed but I think you can figure it out. If not I can mock it up better. http://i1256.photobucket.com/albums/ii483/devobuzz/20170714_224244.jpg
  4. Yeah I torqued all pulleys to spec. I think I'm good. It didn't look like Subaru put any threadlocker on the bolts either. I did also forget that gasket on the side of the water pump. I seem to recall it is there to deflect any seeping coolant away from the timing belt? This was my first Subaru timing belt change so I think it went rather well. I made a cam pulley lock out of some flat stock and ran a bolt through it to jam the pulleys from moving.
  5. I didn't put any blue locktite threadlocker on the threads of the idler pulley bolts. Think I should be OK since there is so much side force on those bolts from the belt tension?
  6. Just did my right rear using a Timken HBA. Toughest part was getting the 14mms socket on the HBA bolts. The heads were rusty. And I forgot to release the parking brake when pulling the rotor. Duh.
  7. Yeah I may have a similar problem. I keep losing the right channel. I have a very old model install with the 1/8" phono plug on the radio side going into the board. So I took it apart and reseated the 1/8" phono plug and seems to be working. Should I put some dielectric grease on the phono plug? If it still happens I guess I could convert to the newer board with the RCA jacks. Update: had to purchase a new board. Thanks, Ralph
  8. Silver LGT at Walmart in Flemington at 2:30 today. No wing, ASA rims, sun roof deflector, extra side mirror.
  9. BSM LGT at Wegmans in Bridgewater, NJ (202) yesterday at noon. Perrin exhaust, aftermarket wheels.
  10. Spotted Regal Blue LGT at Lowe's in Flemington just now. Pretty sure it's Corbett123.
  11. Spotted Vbelisle cruising on Main Street in Flemington on Saturday night at 8:00. I was in my blue 72 Pontiac attending the car show.
  12. Silver wagon on route 523 in front of the Readington Township municipal building about 12 noon yesterday.
  13. Yes I'm impressed by your perseverance and diagnostic reasoning. Are you a mechanic by trade? The hardest part is figuring out what is wrong.
  14. Well I just tightend mine until I felt they were tight - ha! I know many people are having trouble taking it off, so it seems the factory tightened them more than 46 ft-lbs.
  15. I'm a ABP sedan. Defining outside features: lowered, eyelids, debadged except for 2.5GT, custom front grill with GT lettering. In sthe summer I run 17x8 hypersilver Rota Torques on Falken Azenis RT615's. The wagon looked stock but I didn't get a good look.
  16. I have Koni's with iONS. They are a progressive rate spring.
  17. Try jacking up the other side so both wheels are off the ground. The sway bar is pushing the control arm up.
  18. ^^^ Did you remove the switch or sprayed it while it was still in place?
  19. Check over in the Group Buy thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103709&highlight=ion
  20. No the easiest is the 2.2/2.5 SOHC Dodge. All the plugs face forward. The only thing in your way is the prop rod holding up the hood!
