  1. OK, turns out CVT was not cause of engine stumble, bad MAF sensor
  2. No, by sleeves I mean the short meteal tube that the screw goes through.. it is a spacer that keeps the plastic from getting mushed from over tightening of said screw/nut thing. looks like the one at the bottom except shiny instead of black http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/131634786109-0-1/s-l1000.jpg
  3. I installed them the way that the OEM Subaru lights were installed 2 screws on inner two mounting points and tabs inserted into outer two mounting points. As I mentioned earlier, you will need to press the sleeves that are on the OEM screws/bolt things into the Ford plastic housing. this will ensure that you do not break the ford plastic mounts when you tighten them down and it will also let you know when they are tight.
  4. another nice thing about the FORD units, they require no adjustment once installed.
  5. first picture in his post but in case you missed it, here is my pix

Tap to turn flasher installed. 7. New DEMSO MAF installed at 46K because they Subaru techs despite having access to Subaru's latest and greatest diagnostic equipment, could not figure out what I did with a $12 Panlong BT adapter and a cell phone Up next fix paint and ceramic coat car.

  9. yeah I got the Denso one off of Amazon, only took 9 days to get to my house from TX... installed it and IMMEDIATELY the car was running like it should.... end result is I asked SOA to reimburse me for the sensor and the diagnostic fee that I had to pay another dealer who said nothing was wrong.
  10. got a chance to use them this morning and all i can say is WOW.. they are awesome sauce
  11. a Taurus is a full sized car that is not as reliable...and will not last as long... OP yes, they updated the CVT to be more responsive and that is why the car accelerates better...
  12. still waiting for MAF, car has started to develop a really noticeable hesitation when coming off of idle...
  13. OK got them installed IMHO much easier to lift car remove bottom access panel and install. also, writing so you can read it when fog light is installed. 1. remove trim piece 2. reach in hole to side of fog light and use a Philips head screw driver to remove 2 screws on inner 2 tabs on back of light assembly. These are the tabs on the same side as the car's radiator. 3. remove sleeves from screws and press them into left side holes (driver's side light) and right side holes (passenger side) of Ford lights. 4. remove fog light by rotating it and sliding it through fog light hole. 5. unplug Subaru fog light 6. plug in Ford fog light 7. rotate Ford light so you can slip it through hole, use other hand to reach in from hole next to fog and insert the outer tabs into slots. 8. while pushing the light into the tabs, rotate it so you can line up the holes 9. screw in light. 10. Repeat for other side 11. reinstall trim peicees
  14. should be getting those installed today after I swap out MAF sensor
  15. ^ have notice absolutely ZERO difference in how the car rides in day to day driving...other than significantly less leaning in the corners. if there is any downside I have not seen it yet... and I went from 16mm straight to 20mm.. if anything it makes the car more responsive in emergency maneuvers. IE that car goes EXACTLY WHERE YOU POINT IT.
  16. the larger bar keeps the car FLAT during cornering and it also helps immensely with the wandering issues that some people have on the 10-14 cars...
  17. I got the OEM Subaru 20mm bar for $89 + $15 shipped https://subaruonlineparts.com/subaru-legacy-rear-20mm-sway-p-4226.html

  20. how hard would it be to swap in a power seat to a car without one. I can get the seat cheap, I want to have the adjustments that the power seat offers vs the non power seat. 2014 legacy seats
