  1. Yep you're right - the wagon is still with me (handy when you don't have enough storage space or when you own a sedan and need to pick up something rather large). Your one is rev D (at least), no? Still the same?
  2. Yes definitely - don't think it's going to fit yours though?.. It is for A-C revs.
  3. More like a hoarder The Z/S is hopefully going in today.
  4. I have always been a fan of FGK, tried a number of different mufflers on my BH5 and ended up running a FGK mid and muffler. Never regretted - great quality product and very nice sound. If the tips of the above system were for a wagon then I'd definitely consider putting them on mine (which would only require to rotate the flange a bit, the rest is bolt-on). Legalis R type Evolution
  5. Alright, deliveries are slowly coming in :o Trunkfull of pure JDM goodness. Fujitsubo Legalis R type Evolution mufflers and midpipe, HKS Metal Catalyzer downpipe - both 3". Not much use for me, especially the downpipe . The muffs and the mid section can be modified to fit mine but I'd rather keep them intact and let someone else with a turbo wagon to enjoy. The white box is for the 3.0 however :o Found these bits inside Then there was another box. I reckon a lot of people will hate the content of it, rather controversial. Extremely rare though, 99.99% positive that there won't be the same set in New Zealand. Liberal Albero Euro Sport quads inside Put them on the car straight away (I've really mastered the skill of swapping the mufflers ) and you know what - I like them, for now at least. Went for a test drive and I like the quads even more - deeper, louder tone than HKS ES Premiums. No actual pics of them on the car - it's a bit dirty after our recent road trip. More packages still to come PS: how many mufflers do you see?
  6. Fairly certain lingling was talking about the one below, good to know anyway. http://www.sti.jp/parts/catalogue/blbp_legacy/largeimage/2-6.jpg Wonder how much Ti version is lighter than standard (Al?) pipe?.. I still have a Genome and Cusco carbon sitting in a garage, the rest is sold
  7. I cannot really find any reference to the brace actually being Ti...
  8. Thanks, Ti STI brace? Gray with a pink logo? Had that one as well, didn't even put in a car as it just looks soo much Cusco (also didn't know it was actually Ti...).
  9. CS builds are more about power/psi/kw/hp/mydickislongerthanyours sort of stuff and I don't have much interest in that
  10. Precisely that - JDM headlights are "clean" from factory, all you need to do is just to swap annoying amber for some "silver vision"-like bulbs, got some off eBay.
  11. Picsies time after a bit of "Chemical Guys" love :o

  13. You've seen the braces, how about some grilles? First up is J1017AG001: plastic, metal mesh, logo and central reinforcement piece can be removed completely leaving just the mesh if you're after a stealth look and OEM quality. Too bad it is a pre-face grille and a doesn't fit perfectly. I had a spare set of 18" 3.0R specB wheels for sale that not surprisingly sold yesterday. The buyer also happened to own a pre-face 3.0 and just like me managed to collect a few bits - grilles were the most interesting part for me. Met with him today to drop the wheels off and he brought two grilles in: one OEM and another one crappy quality carbon like mesh. I knew exactly what the OEM grille was and after a short but very successful (for myself ) negotiation I was on my way home with the new grille in the boot. Here we go, part number J1017AG080: all plastic (Subaru calls it resin), badge cannot be removed, dark grey/charcoal metallic http://i.imgur.com/NfoJyu4.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ctQ4W7D.jpg PS: excuse the dirty car
  14. Bought a grille unseen, turned out it is a part number J1017AG001 and won't fit (it does fit if you're not picky but there's a small gap at the bottom). Kind of expected it so not that upset and I'm sure it'll sell easily. The grille came in a Syms box with some instructions and fitting hardware, then I found this little packet inside: http://i.imgur.com/alpsMqX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/nw7kbqq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/PP82QEO.jpg McGard license plate lock bolts, not the biggest necessity but still pretty cool and most importantly FREE :smt005
  15. My modest collection of strut bars  Cusco Alloy Cusco Carbon STI Flexi STI Genome I like the (stealth) look of the carbon brace, left it in for now. Cusco alloy brace with BMC stopper
  16. Changed oil/filter with a genuine Subaru filter and Castrol Edge 5W-30. Then I thought why not and did the following: http://i.imgur.com/8CH0k9Q.jpg Part numbers: http://i.imgur.com/8ENz53c.jpg Rear fog/reflector removed, covers unwrapped http://i.imgur.com/FiAHgkb.jpg Then the rain started... :smt012 http://i.imgur.com/NMrQxEh.jpg Done http://i.imgur.com/vO2HJXO.jpg Was my first ever bumper removal, went smooth as and if not the rain would've been done pretty quickly (should've really done it in a garage but it was nice and sunny when I did the oil change - NZ weather at its best). Touched up a few rusty spots on the towbar while the bumper cover was off. Really like the new look, much more "sportier" and subtle, not sure if I'd colour match the covers - like the contrast (plan B: get another set of outer covers and colour match them ). http://i.imgur.com/9RrRVqs.jpg

  20. That Genome muffler looks a bit short, sedan version? Got disappointed with Genomes, not sure what all the buzz is about - very light (which is not bad) but so easy to dent/scratch, pipework is not even 2.5", sound-wise I'd say each to their own. Sold mine after a month
