Lowered with a good sounding exhaust BSM 06 GT sedan on Broadway just north of the World Trade Center memorial this afternoon around 2:45. Anyone on here? I was walking on the sidewalk and heard the rumble and turned just in time to see you making a left.
Thanks that means a lot!
Both of you be quiet! If I had a second car that was a go kart I'd probably drive it a lot too. Hell maybe when I get home I'll drive my wagon a few days and then take my parents Alfa. Especially if it's sunny.
When I get home it will be 9 weeks since I drove my car I'll just have to get used to going 2, 3, 4 months between driving my car at a time for after I graduate.
I haven't done it on my wagon but my family does it every year on the suburban and we also have a rack for windsurfers that also fits a box next to it. This is the only picture I could find of our old suburban with the windsurf rack and box towing the boat.
Wow way to bump a 2 year old thread! See my signature for more pictures of my wagon with H&R springs and 3/8 saggy butt spacers. 18x8.5 et44 Rota Gravel with Goodyear Eagle 235/40r18 tires
And a stock springs picture
Any of you Florida people work on Blount Island Marine Base? I arrived last night to get aboard the Sisler and noticed a dark grey 5th gen GT parked in one of the parking lots.
As far as bikes go there is a broad range of "beginner bikes" and it greatly depends on what riding style you are going to do. If you are just looking for cross country riding the type of bike you will use will be greatly different than a downhill bike. Personally I really like all mountain style bikes as you can still pedal them up hill without much difficulty and they also are able to do downhill. I have a Santa Cruz nomad and that style bike is perfect for just about everything. My suggestion to find a good bike that fits you and is comfortable is to go demo bikes until you find the right match.
As far as where to go riding there are tons of trails around the Bay that offer a riding style for everything and unless you are somewhere with big built features there are ways around most jumps or features if you aren't feeling up to them.
I've been trying to figure that out by looking at others. I think they bey get bent up but I'm not 100% sure. I've got tall jackstands I can get under and look at home.
Last coat of clear coat is drying right now. Going to mount them tomorrow and then probably take some pictures tomorrow afternoon. They look pretty good all painted. It's so hard waiting for them to dry!
Sprained his wrist and that was all. He didn't ride the next 2 days while my dad and other brother still rode. He was hurting pretty bad but nothing serious
This was my brothers crash last summer. For his birthday he got a neck brace and more body armor as my mom got a little worried about him after seeing this video. I would have ridden out of it except that his bike was in the middle of the trail and I ended up running over it.
Paint should arrive tomorrow for the spats. Throw some coats on tomorrow and Thursday clear coat let dry and then install over the weekend and go take pictures! I'm excited!
