You want hexmods(climberD) VB and diff bushings. If you truly are pushing 400whp+(larger than a 20g) you may want to look into some of the services IPT offers.

KILLER deal on Lower control arms
whitrzac replied to Harsho1's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
Does anyone have a comparison to the included bushing in these VS the group N bushings? -
In. I've run e85 in other cars, but stopped because of the hassle of finding it when away from home. Flexfuel would be a lifesaver.
-
I'll check the axles tonight. Someone I know had a similar issue with an OBXT. It's a stg3 car with a 20g. Brake boosted to ~10psi@3k and launched. Dont mistake me asking for me being surprised. I have an extra trans+rear diff at a friends house.
-
For those who have had rear diff failures, what symptoms were you having? My car started making a grinding/popping noise coming from the back tonight. It was one of those "hey watch this" moments

Inventory shown is not correct. It still hasn't accounted for the ones I bought a few hours ago. -

You guys must not know how this works... Buy now, ask questions later... If it was a price mistake, they would have fixed it yesterday when he posted -
I assume DSG/dual clutch. The manuals that are computer controlled.

Can you change the redline shift point?
-
stg 3.... Its odd because it's not every time:spin: $300 bounty for anyone that can crack the TCU?
-
Next question. Sometimes the car 'forgets' to shift out of first and hits redline at 7200rpm. It only happens when accelerating from a stop at WOT. It doesn't happen every time, maybe 2% of the time it does. Any ideas?
-
I've read about that guy. Personally I think he's full of it. He might have found another ECU table relating to the AT, but he still doesn't have access to the TCU. I have a hexmod VB and diff bushings...
-
Has anyone noticed that the car is 'faster' when locked in a gear manually vs. letting the TCU figure it out? Its especially noticeable in higher (4/5) gears.

Valve Body Mods, Giant Leaps Forward!!!
whitrzac replied to ClimberDHexMods's topic in Transmissions
In sport, or "D"? In sport there's an extra set of clutch packs engaged(low speed coast/something like that) that will feel harsh to some. In "D" it should feel normal. Climber D can take a while to respond, he's a busy guy. VBmods are not his day job. Plan on being down for ~3 weeks, shipping to him, modify, shipping back. -
ADR-8 17x7 +42 wheels do not clear the front brakes.

The famous stumble...fixed?
whitrzac replied to Brian3676's topic in Turbo Powertrains (2.0GT, 2.5GT, 2.5XT)
Mr spank? Seems like it would do something similar to adding more line to the setup. -
So it rained yesterday, and I had to go out and play.... When launching the car the front tires spin a little? Car is stg2, hexmods valvebody, diff bushings, etc
-
I've been thinking about one too... How much cabin noise is added? Any drawbacks? Worth the $$?
-
yes. They will roll ~1ft. All automatic transmissions are like this.

Valve Body Mods, Giant Leaps Forward!!!
whitrzac replied to ClimberDHexMods's topic in Transmissions
Its the one complaint I've heard about, that I've never noticed. Make sure the car is idled down before shifting, taping the gas should lower it from ~1200 to ~700rpm -

It softens up after awhile. Just let it relearn without resetting it. -
Installed my hexmods vb and diff bushings this weekend. worth every penney.

Link or is that information not public? I remember reading somewhere that there's a max 'value' for the RT programed somewhere in the ecu can be changed, but even after adjusting that it still only operated to 408. The TB didn't open all the way. I go googling late at night, I come back with more knowledge, but no idea where it came from:lol:
