I can't wait to see it. I have an interview with a company coming up in the next couple weeks and if that goes well and I land the job there are quite a few mods heading my LGT's way. Such as saving for an STi trans swap and a reseal on my race block with hopefully matching STi heads just for starters. :spin:

  2. I'll be up there watching the event. I was gonna bring my GoPro if you wanna mount it for a run or two. Good to know someone else with a LGT will be there. I'll have my AP w/ me if that's the cable you'll need?
  3. Got a link? I'd be interested! What airport?

http://wannagofast.com/clayton.php $15 for a spectator. Driver spots are all gone unfortunately. I'd love to get some rolling shots of some rubies headed up there though.

I'll be at C&O this weekend also. This week is my bday week so I get leverage to go to every car related thing in the next two weeks. My self proclaimed authority over my wife. We'll see how it goes.

  4. Anti-lift kits are magic. Ps it's been awfully quiet around here. Who's down to ACTUALLY meet sometime? The local forum is putting together a Tail of the Dragon run in the fall, any takers?
  5. Everyone (and particularly Ben)-

I've been looking for a 2005-2007 Legacy Ltd (non turbo). I've passed up a few that came from rust-belt states (lands of snow and road salt). However, ones that spent the majority of their miles in the south are extremely rare, so I may need to be a little less picky.

What kinds of diagnostics can a Subaru dealer (or a shop who specializes in Subarus) do to minimize the chance of getting a car with severe problems (especially engine, but anything else that could be expensive)? Is there anything a traveling tech could do if the car can't be taken to a shop (just test driven and whatever he can do on the lot/driveway)?

Any recommendations on local shops and/or traveling techs in the Atlanta area?

And if anyone runs across a 2005-2007 Legacy with auto-AC controls, no major damage in its history, non black interior, and not used by a smoker, please let me know!

Subaru of Kennesaw does a pre-purchase inspection that I'd absolutely recommend. As far a subaru-specific shops, most the ones I know of are speed shops so why not try the dealer? Unless you're trying to keep it super cheap. What you're looking for is super specific so I wish you luck! IMO you should go turbo.

PS: Where was everyone today at the Little River Cruise today?! Only two LGT's showed up!
