  1. ^This. I didn't go to SoWo because I thought it might be a bit like the ass-hattery that indeed ended up happening.
  2. Just bought my wife a DSLR so car pics coming soon as I learn how to use it. Gotta keep her happy if I want to keep modding. lol!
  3. I'm excited to see the progress. You should post pics!
  4. The shifter feels awesome and the install wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be!
  5. Waiting for parts is the worst. I'm currently bidding on BBK for the fronts and I have to wind down the clock to see if I'll win. $510 for a front BBK w/ extra pads and 2pc rotors. I think yes. With that being said, nobody else go bid on it, I called dibs. lol!
  6. There's a cigars & bourbon night tomorrow through wrxatlanta: http://wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36360 Silencer: I may install tomorrow @ a friend's shop but thanks for the offer!
  7. Finally got some parts in so time to install tonight or tomorrow! (Kartboy SS w/ bushings, Grimmspeed radiator and alternator shrouds) What's everyone else up to?
  8. Nice man! Hope to see you at a meet soon, maybe we can do a couple rolling pulls and grab some video of it.
  9. I'm sick today so I'm out for this week.
  10. Mondays are preferable to me also.
  11. I have no idea when. The best way to head up from the city is up 400.
  12. I was just going to roll up for Saturday if anyone wants to drive up together? I'm also down for a California Dreaming meet.
  13. SoWo: http://www.southernworthersee.com I may decide to roll up there this time, my wife will be busy all weekend. I'm still editing the footage from yesterday's track day but my legacy handled like a dream at AMP! I kept a ton of speed and never had any sort of brake issues. I'm still a novice but it was so much fun to learn the track and my car.
  14. I've been lobbying for us to hang out or for me to help anyone as they're working on their cars so the offer still stands. I'm glad you're enjoying the community, and who cares if you're older than some of us.
  15. Taking my legacy to the track tomorrow to see what she can do @ AMP. I'm excited and a little nervous. I've only driven on the track once and it was in a GTR for a track day experience. Although that was amazing, it's not like I have a lot of skill built up. $150 for a whole afternoon/evening of racing and practice sounds good to me.
  16. The car is in good hands. Here's to more reliable subaru-goodness coming soon!
  17. From my experience the replacement short block is a brand new unit. At least from the times we used to warranty @ SoK. At least I think? Ps I know all the techs so hmu if you want to request someone. That being said it'll prob be one of the two master techs.
  18. Bummer dude. Warranty?? If so then that's not too horrible!
  19. jj808: Welcome home then! We look forward to seeing your lgt around town and hopefully not keeping it stock. lol
  20. I've thought about going up to Sowo, undecided yet. Anyhow, Ghionw: if you need help with the retrofit hit up Dana @ TougeFighter, he did a good job with mine.
  21. Haha spending money at the dealership is always exciting?? I'm about to slap a pitch stop mount on and maybe buy some shrouds (alternator/radiator). Other than that there's nothing exciting going on with my car either.
  22. What's going on fellow legacy owners?
  23. Who's going to IA tomorrow or C&O?
  24. David, you already know but to everyone else I won't be at IA this year (yet again). I have to work.
