  1. My right front passenger seat squeaks like hell whenever my wife is in the car.
  2. Neither have I. I average around the same mileage you do. Before the mileage update, I was able to get a little more mpg, but now, fuggedaboutit!
  3. They don't come in 2017 Leg Ltd size & any close size is $200+ on tirerack. Too bad as it appears to be an all-around excellent tire.
  4. I haven't had this on my 17. Had it on my 14, but that was because of the tires.
  5. When I replace my LS2's in the fall, I'm leaning towards the BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S tires (or Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06). If money wasn't an issue, & they came in 225/50-18 (which they don't), I might get Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady tires.
  6. This past long July 4th weekend, my wife & I drove to Stowe VT (& then home on Sunday). 325 miles one way hitting speeds up to 90 mph. No wandering steering, no unstable car. I am surprised I still have brakes after that trip as I had to do some hard braking, but they seem OK (37,7xx miles on car).
  7. It looks like I won't be saying goodby after all. We made the decision to not go ahead w/ the Outback. I expect to be buying my Legacy when the lease ends in early Aug.
  8. No, but when my wife is in the car the sqawking from the passenger seat is sometimes unbearable.
  9. I don't have all the paperwork yet as the car is on the way to the dealer. Technically, I'm in decision mode & my deposit is so they don't sell the car out from under me (which I suppose they could still do). I can tell you that the interest rates are 0.0% for 36 months, 0.9% for 48 months & 1.9% for up to 72 months (if memory serves correctly).
  10. The lease on my 17 Legacy will be up in about 3.5 weeks. I wanted a 20 which isn't available yet (at least not in my area) & would have settled for a 19, but the numbers didn't work out (neither did buying my Legacy off the lease. Love my Legacy). Unless I change my mind, I'll be leasing a 19 Outback 2.5i Limited. I never wanted an SUV, but it's only for 3 years. Since the OB is very similar to the Legacy (from the rear doors forward anyway), I'll just imagine I'm in my Legacy.
  11. Here's the scenario: 17 Legcy 2.5i Limited, no ES/NAV. Have a USB stick that I've been playing. I stop at a particular song & remove the drive. I reformat (full not quick) the drive FAT32 & copy my music, that I've added to, back to the drive. Plug it in & turn it on & it starts playing where I had stopped it previously. Is there any way to make the radio forget its former USB position & start playing from the "beginning" of the drive?
  12. Yesterday I had WUD891 2017 Leg & Out Combi Meter Reprogram done. Now the avg gas mileage fluctuates wildly. Hope it settles down.
  13. I can tell when the simulated gears change by watching the RPMs change, but generally I don't feel anything.
  14. When I replaced the crappy Bridgestones on my 14 Legacy last Feb., I bought Nokian WR G3's. At the time I thought I was going to buy it when the lease ended in July. As things turned out, I gave the 14 back & leased a 17 Legacy Ltd. If I do it over, this time I think I would go with either The Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06 or the Goodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S. Both have excellent ratings for snow use, which is why I bought the Nokians. There just wasn't enough snow last winter to verify their snow pedigree (I wasn't completely happy with them for other reasons, but that's another story).
  15. Location: Rockland County State: NY Year: 14 (soon to be 17) Model: Legacy 2.5i Premium (soon to be Legacy 2.5i Ltd) Color: Carbide Grey Met (soon to be black)
  16. You'll know you're still in NY when you pay the toll on the new bridge. Haha
  17. No, the part most people never heard of. Keeps the riff-raff out.
