  1. Needs lots of cleaning now. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  2. Parts waiting. Gold lug nuts. Thule wing bar for roof bike racks. Got this from the UK with fit kit 3082. Bolts right up the 2009 impreza brackets under jdm roof molding. Bistein RCE dampers with Tanabe nf210 springs. Repainted the struts with por15 of course!! And Whiteline rear lower control arms for more adjustment. I did not order the upper control arms for legacy so we will see how it aligns. Paint on friday. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  3. Shot some black base I had laying around. I will sand it then clear it with the rest. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  4. Hate to do this but I need that nice hitch.. sorry rear optional jdm ultra rare lip.
  5. The front bumper is now ready for paint! All primer surfacer sanded with500 grit then 600. This is a pain. And real long to get it perfect. Rear bumper and lip to go! Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  6. Mine is going with us front end. Just like in this jdm brochure. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  7. Many thanks for the kind words!! Yes maybe just a filter will do it. Im just gonna do the muffler delete as Im gonna fabricate it so it's not expensive. I need to keep funds for my 190e mercedes 1993 resto-mod 16v wanna-be. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  8. Nice!! Good to know that!! Yeah Im keeping the auto for sure. I had a similar 2003 wagon, also painted white that I swapped manual. Was not that bad but was not worth it. A car like that is a longer wheelbase and therefore way less agile than my old 2 doors gc turbo. My plan is maybe a cold air intake, fabricate flanged muffler delete pipes and have it tuned. Bought my clearcoat gallon yesterday. Ppg Deltron 4010. I had amazing results with this in the past. Also real expensive. Yesterday I drilled the roof gutters to fit the impreza hidden attachements for roof racks. After researches I ordered Thule wingbar edge with fit kit for euro wagon. The thing bolted real nice!! What a relief. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  9. Please explain????????? Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  10. Thanks! Take a look at them before!!! Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  11. I sold my sti mainly because we wanted an auto now. I drive a lot in traffic for work. Would be fun with a manual I agree. But it seems that you can't turn off completely the traction control anyways on these cars. I will talk about it with my tuner. Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk
  12. Yeah I saw the videos! I wonder how well the auto trans will hold up for this guy... I broke my sti engine twice adding boost safely... so I don't think it will happen this time. Also, it's gonna be a family car. I have 2 kids that play many many sports... Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk
  13. Haha . No way. I want the 6 now. I almost bought a bmw 5 series wagon and this was my final choice. I have been with 2 wrx and one sti for the past 12 years so it's time for a little change. Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk
  14. Sandblasting teh tailgate. I ended up buying A NEW one from the dealer. Was 800$. Ouch. Subaru love!! At the frame The rear bumper was a challenge. The jdm version is narrower so the arches don't fit at all. I had to cut section from the outback bumper to weld it in place. I hate cutting an expensive bumper like that!! Took me a lot of time to get ready for paint. Lot of testing and fitting. And sanding. And sanding. Ppg epoxy primer and ppg eurethane primer surfacer. Aspen white on the interiors!!! just a small test. Still lot of blocking and fitting the doors. Not in that pic but they now fit 100% perfect everywhere. Car is now ready for paint. 15. How it arrived: Getting rid of the "outback" The final product should look like this: It's got every option possible from the dealer. The previous owner took everything. Nice. 2 subs with harman kardon hu! Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  16. The blue sti was sold 2 months ago. This wagon will replace it. I had welded shut the 50 holes in the lower doors from plastic cladding... Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk
  17. Hey guys! I want to share with you the project I am working on. I have been doing bodywork for about 10 years now and I enjoy it a lot. The goal was to have the 2014 legacy wagon, so I bought from Cali, a totaled 3.6r outback limited. The plan is to remove ALL the outback specific components to replace with leg gt. And do the complete color change while at it. Also fit suspension components for leg gt. Bilstein shocks and tanabe springs, and adjustble lcas. I bought the car in august 2016. I had the frame work done and I do everything else. Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk
  18. I searched but found close to nothing. Does someone knows where to buy these flares? a link maybe?
  19. getting ready for winter! last week was rustproofing, today is: 1 coat of Klasse sealer and 2 coats of Colinite double coat. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y81/daveboudreau/novembre2013023.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y81/daveboudreau/novembre2013028.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y81/daveboudreau/novembre2013055.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y81/daveboudreau/novembre2013052.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y81/daveboudreau/novembre2013051.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y81/daveboudreau/novembre2013045.jpg and this was my Halloween setup: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y81/daveboudreau/novembre2013016.jpg I also swapped a new, used block with new pistons form the dealer and full service. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y81/daveboudreau/novembre2013038.jpg
  20. hey like I said, your car looks great! can you tell me what kind of flares were used in the back? custom or what? maybe a closer pic?
  21. looks real good in that red suit!! is it manual? body looks rust free, you are lucky!
  22. nice plan you got! haha. I used eurethane paint (1 step, the clear is in the paint) I would suggest you go that way if you paint it aspen white. Mutch cheaper is easyer and the result is very good and super durable. Now for the outback bumper, It will fit but it will need a bit of a stretch. Also, you need to extension the bumper beam with mounting brackets for the fogs. You can also use the outback bumper beam but if you do, the grille won't fit correct (1 inch gap at the bottom) unless you want to use an ugly outback grille.
