  1. Wow, so then it might not be so bad to do more cutting on the stock bumper just to get the grill to fit, since nearly everything including the headlights need to be changed just for the bumper.
  2. Why is that the fenders be recommended to change? Also, do you happen to have the full part no's for the parts? I have been having a hard time locating the Subaru part numbers. Japan parts only provides the first 5 numbers. I posted this, question here - http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4348935&postcount=29 I ended getting the 07 EDM Spec.B STi grill (91121AG290) from Germany (I have 2 actually), and if I can only get the front bumper, then I won't have to cut up my stock front bumper to get the grill to fit.
  3. Hyper Black, Gun Metal, maybe Bronze would look good with the right style wheels.
  4. Thanks Seeeya and BarManBean. I installed mine this past Sat. It was very simple and straight forward. Great instructions were easy to follow. I rented the CV boot banding tool from my local Autozone. Also, since I had the IC off, I went ahead and installed a T25 Thermal Zero heat blanket that I ordered from Amazon. I kept the stock heat shielding as well. Doing the blanket install was what took the longest in terms of time and my hands paid the price a bit even though I wore gloves, getting the blanket in position wasn't that difficult, it was getting the SS wires routed and secured. In the end, I say it is worth while as I can actually feel the heat reduction and highly recommend this be done to reduce or eliminate heat soak on the TMIC. In regards to the failures it might be the plastic getting heated and cooled (expansion and contraction) which causes the fingers to get loosened, and the boost pressures to make it burst especially on the output side of the compressor and where most of the heat is located.
  5. Do it before you have a leak or failure. What's holding you back?
  6. Didn't post this right away, but I received mine on Monday or Tuesday!
  7. I sent payment today as well. Hopefully, this will hold up to 21 psi of boost on an E85 tune.
  8. I read some posts that there has been oil consumption when replacing the turbo, can anyone weigh in about that?
