  1. I will post here for interest, '08 spec.B currently tuned for dual maps.
  2. Can someone please confirm: If you don't have the JDM ECU and for a 2008 LGT which is CANBUS, should be able to use the USDM ECU and not hook up the Exhaust AVCS, correct? Then just make sure to re-tune the engine.
  3. Lol, if this is true and it was a mistake in pricing you'll be getting both the LCAs for around $30.00. From CARID CMS80182 CMS80181 $4.00 + $4.00 + ground shipping of around ~$21.00. If you check the Mevotech website, these are the actual pictures and they are aluminum because the weight of each arm is around 8 lbs. http://partsonline.mevotech.com/Showdetails.aspx?pn=CMS80182 http://partsonline.mevotech.com/Showdetails.aspx?pn=CMS80181
  4. I put BP (wagon) springs in the rear and didn't use any saggy butt spacers. These are the JDM Legacy STi pink springs on the factory Spec.B Bilsteins. The part no's are in the "Best pink springs" thread I believe.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/27/ju2aqy6a.jpg Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. I ordered this from a German Parts distributor - http://www.genuine-parts.de/ I paid in Euros via PayPal.
  6. You do realize that the supplied splitter is not designed for LGT fitment. If you plan to use the splitter you will need to fabricate the mounting points. Also, there are different PW part nos. for 08+ WRX and for 4th gen Liberty. Hope it works out for you.
  7. Bought it from a German OEM parts distributor for around 330. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  9. Whatdyathink? A new set for cheap... http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/07/yhanasa9.jpg Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. Yes, that's why I run E85. It's nice to live near 5 different Propel station pumps. In my previous car, 03 Bugeye WRX, I was tuned for 93 and so I used to mix 100 back in the day, then started using E85 mix after that, and that's what the current owner (Heedz) does.
  11. Anyone test with 100% E85 in their tank? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. I'm certain he swapped to the factory DP, as we're in NorCal, Santa Clara County.
  13. Saw a really clean 08 DBM LGT, followed a little ways, and stopped at a few signal lights and met and chatted with ElleGeeTee while I was in Concord on Sat. Nice meeting you! Come to the Wed. night meet in Fremont if you are bored as there's usually a big turnout.
  14. Only way i'd go front mount is if the turbo is at the bottom, like with the 5th gen 2010 GT.
  15. I think that if you run Rotella T6 and you read and understand this, that you'd probably switch to something else that offers better protection. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. This is the car I wish I could own, and it's affordable. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.281811818559901.65652.138207866253631&type=1
  17. ^^ I would have guess that you had a problem with the PP. This sticky needs updating. I am in the need to replace the Spec B clutch, and will be going with an Exedy Twin Hyper HD. The part number is FM022HD and it includes a flywheel, but no TO or Pilot bearing. http://www.exedyusa.com/race/FM022HD Specs: Disc Size 200mm Spline Teeth / Major Dia 24T / 25.2mm Clamping Force/Load exerted (lbs) 2653 Disc Material Ceramic Number of Disc Twin Type (Push/Pull) Pull Sprung Center (D-core) Yes Clutch Torque 1106 Torque Capacity at Wheels 615 Flywheel to Crank Bolt ft-lb 55 PP Assby. to Flywheel ft-lb 23 One thing I noticed on their website is that the FM022SD is not found to have a application for the Spec B, but is for the STi. http://www.exedyusa.com/race/FM022SD Specs: Disc Size 200mm Spline Teeth / Major Dia 24T / 25.2mm Clamping Force/Load exerted (lbs) 2653 Disc Material Ceramic Number of Disc Twin Type (Push/Pull) Pull Sprung Center (D-core) Yes Clutch Torque 919 Torque Capacity at Wheels 615 Flywheel to Crank Bolt ft-lb 55 PP Assby. to Flywheel ft-lb 23 Other Exedy Clutches: Stage 1 Organic with HD PP. http://www.exedyusa.com/race/15803HD
  18. This is a long overdue review. Although, I'm currently no longer running a Cryotune Stage 2 map, I just wanted to point out that when I was, I worked with Dave who knows these cars and knows how to extract maximum and safe power levels. If I find I need your services, I will definitely look to you, and I will never hesitate to recommend your services. If you own a 4th Gen (or 5th) Legacy GT, I highly recommend you get tuned by CryoTune Performance, you won't be disappointed! Thanks again, Dave! You are a HUGE asset to the LGT community!
  19. Finally addressed all the issues I had with the install of the 6SS 20GXR BB turbo. They gave me the wrong oil line -AN fitting. It fit onto the steel braided line to the turbo, but didn't fit the stock compression fitting. I picked up the correct fitting at ATP Turbo. Then, I had an uppipe leak. Found that compressor housing was interfering with the oil line and water line preventing the uppipe from sealing completely, just needed to use a punch to make some clearance on the water fitting and slightly bend the oil line down. I removed the oil line filter screen too. The screen was clean but that's not surprising since i've been running the Amsoil Dual Remote Bypass since 54280, and currently at 61677. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/13/7yse5u7e.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/13/3etenu4u.jpg This was the first clearance problem so had to remove the engine lift bracket. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/13/saqe6ehu.jpg Got a FMS TMIC with PW hoses for cheap while I wait for the Grimmspeed unit. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/13/gu2uga5e.jpg Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. This 6StarSpeed 20g finally arrived as the Garrett ball bearing CHRA was not available. Waited patiently since early June.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/07/9umy7adu.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/07/a6atezyb.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/07/7eduquze.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/07/5agudeby.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/07/yqa7y7am.jpg Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. This mod is not only for extending your OCI, it also provides additional oil capacity and cooling similar to adding the Killer B pan but at reduced cost and better filtration. Sent from my HP Slate 7 using Tapatalk 4
  22. Interesting info on oil wear protection tests done by independent test lab. http://540ratblog.wordpress.com/ I wanted to point out one of the more popular oil being used here (which I used to run) and compared to the Amsoil Series 3000 HDD 5w-30 that I currently use (what would you want to protect your engine with?): 96. 5W40 SHELL ROTELLA T6 Diesel Oil synthetic, API CJ-4, CI-4 Plus, CI-4, CH-4, SM, SL = 67,804 psi zinc = TBD phos = TBD moly = TBD 12. 5W30 Amsoil Series 3000 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil synthetic, API CI-4 PLUS, CF, SL, ACEA A3/B3, E2, E3, E5, E7 = 102,642 psi This is BY FAR, the highest ranked Diesel oil I have ever tested. This oil is Engineered for Diesel engines not equipped with Diesel particulate filters (DPF). Amsoil says this oil delivers better wear protection than other popular Diesel oils. And in this case, their hype is absolutely true. They also say it effectively reduces fuel consumption, with its advanced fuel efficient formula. This oil costs $11.15 per quart in the 2013 Amsoil Factory Direct Retail Catalog, which is 10% more than Amsoil’s 5W40 Premium Synthetic Diesel Oil. So, in this case, you pay only 10% more for the Amsoil Series 3000 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil, but you get a whopping 33% more wear protection than you get with the Amsoil’s 5W40 Premium Synthetic Diesel Oil. Money very well spent, if you run a Diesel oil intended for engines not equipped with Diesel particulate filters. The next highest ranked Diesel oil only ranks a very unimpressive 54th out of the 118 oils I’ve tested so far. So, this 5W30 Amsoil Series 3000 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil is in a class of its own, among all the Diesel oils I have tested. zinc = TBD phos = TBD moly = TBD
