  1. This is one reason to go with a local vendor. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
  2. Hi Dave, I sent you an email today. 510Finn
  3. That is fantastic! My experience in just talking to tuners, they won't tune you for e85 with stock injectors. I'm thinking why not? If CryoTune Performance is able to pull this off, I highly commend them. I guessed that it is possible, because in order to support e85, you need 2 injector pulses for example, instead of one. Its doable, and that's how these e85 conversion devices work.

  5. Do an inlet pressure leak test too. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
  6. These are the Kamak STS turbos http://shopping.kinugawaturbo.com/subarumy082008afterreplacevfxx.aspx Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  7. STS uses a lighter, stronger, nine blade, iconel turbine wheel. I believe it is only available on Kamak turbos.
  8. What's massive play? Because Journal Bearings have more play than a ball bearing turbo, until oil fills the JB there will be play. If the wheel fins don't hit the housing, but there is play, it should be fine.
  9. Perhaps the flange bolts to the tmic and then a 90 degree elbow silicon hose is then connected to the uncut turbo outlet of the STi style turbo? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  10. Hi HD (Mike), thanks to you I just recently went with this on my Spec.B. I just installed the BMK23-EA Dual Remote w/Bypass, and BK298-EA (spin on filter adapter) at 54,280. Using EAO15EA Absolute Efficiency Oil Filter, and the EABP90EA Absolute Efficiency By-Pass Oil Filter. Running 6.5 quarts of the Amsoil Series 3000 Synthetic HD 5w30 Oil (Car and Diesel approved). I also changed over to Amsoil Severe Gear 75w/90 in the trans and diffs. I'm running Cobb AP Stg. 2 93 OTS map. Planning Stg. 3 upgrades soon.

  13. Top is 2008 USDM Spec.B grill - Part No. 91121AG130 Below is 2007 EDM/JDM Spec.B grill Subaru Part No. 91122-AG100 Ordered this from a German Parts distributor - http://www.genuine-parts.de/ I paid via PayPal in Euros. This is what it looks like installed on my 2008 Spec.B and I had to do a major cutting on my bumper, but I can still install the original grill if necessary. I did not modify the EDM/JDM Spec.B grill at all. It doesn't quite fit the best, but at least the original mounting points on both grills and bumper are retained.
  14. Sorry, about the blurry picture. These are on my '08 Spec.B with JDM STi Pinks and USDM Bilstein struts. BBS RS-GT 18x8 +40 Yoko S-Drives 235/40. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/08/27/e6a6ahy9.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/08/27/a6abe5y6.jpg
  15. So the Walbro 460 is one for sure that requires this, what about the 340 lph pumps? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  16. I will take pics and measure wiring and voltage. Where is the FP module located on the 08? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  17. So every model year LGT would potentially run into this problem if using a high flow fuel pump? It seems that this issue is related to a select few, or not? That's what I'm asking. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  18. I've read through this entire thread a few times, but i'm still not certain, is this a problem with LGT 2008 or 2009? I guess not many have this model year and/or Subaru fixed the problem starting in 07+ ?
  19. No expert here, but just doing reading/learning about this issue. On another forum, they attribute the stutter or stumble which seems to occur at around 2500 to 3000 rpm is due to a some type of fuel line resonance. Many have had reported success after adding 3 feet of fuel line between the fuel rail and the fuel damper, and after zeroing out the Load Compensation table and/or reset of the ECU.
  20. Yes, because there are several alternatives to consider. I found out that the Kamak is their higher end line and comes with STS 9 blade turbine and not available on the Kinugawa turbos. I also found out that from the GB (SteamSpeed) that the price is around 300 more for these. The port and polish option from the GB is only on the turbine side which is okay, but then there also is no ceramic coating options either. So now I'm looking at a BB equivalent with all the options I mentioned (no STS turbine because its not Kamak or Kinugawa) but full port/polish (turbine and compressor sides) and ceramic coating. Search on 6StarSpeed for more details.
  21. Anyone here running this? I'm considering going with the TD06SL2 8cm 20G PnP with billet compressor wheel, FiveO Motorsports 1200cc EV14 and Aeromotive 340 and tuned for E85.
  22. On my '08 Spec.B, i'm using ST2033021010 for the front and ST2038021010 rear.
