  1. Just buy a used LGT wheel and then swap over the bag
  2. Yea, not the most plug and play per say. But I love the look and feel of them. I'm still rocking the stock seat belts too. I've done the reading about if you can't do 5 or 6 point stay with the lap belt. Who knows, I may do the 4 point down the road. This car is a daily and chances are if I get hit, it won't be pretty anyway.
  3. Well, got a random package today that I had no clue what it was. Opened it up and inside was a BNIB Zerosports blue radiator shroud. I must have bought one many months ago, forgot as I was getting lots of parts at the time. Then, bought another one used. Aslo installed my Prodrive oil cap. Very nice piece and they are discountinued!
  4. That's pretty fast for a stock Miata. Don't even think anything else with that engine size none boosted will grab under 6 in 0-60.
  5. Who's making the drive down to Tampa for the MEGA MEET!!!!! I'll be heading over from Mobile. Incase you aren't aware it's on the 23 of Jan.
  6. Finally got a walkaround video up of the car, enjoy
  7. The same car, yet they look so different.
  8. Got a real camera finely so I'll have good photos coming up finally. Panasonic DMC-FZ70
  9. Well I have seen these on Japanparts and wanted one but then couldn't find it again. Loked on ebay and all and was sure it was discontinued. Which it was. Some how I stumbled onto JapanAuctionParts who was in colab with Tommy Kiara to do a limited run! How did I get so lucky. This limited run is also the only heavy baby that will come with different colored turtles. So excited and it is a "Heavy Baby" haha http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG1619.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG1618.jpg
  10. So it ended up being the main vacuum line ont he backside of the mainfold directly in the middle that caused the 0 idle condition. Pushed it back on, zip tied and all good to go.
  11. How have I not stumbled upon this until just now!. This is so cool! Maybe be in the future aka well be. Thanks for the great thread
  12. I see a lot of future new wall papers in here.
  13. PTP turbo blanket along with Perrin heat shield installed. Had to get another Prosport as the Halo series was having issues. And installed the new GS intake and finalized my open source tune from Drunkman Tuning. Safe to say the car is done for awhile. http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG1580.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG1560.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG1559.jpg
  14. Didn't update this. So completed the above o-ring replacement and ran into an issue with zero vacuum at idle and car running so lean it was off the wideband. Pulled it apart and made sure it was reseated, all was good there. Still the issue remained. Got a boost leak tester and found the main boost line that is located at the aft center part of the intake manifold had slipped off! Fixed it and all is well. Going back to finalize my tune and install the GS intake
  15. My car is up to no good. Tried to replace the mainfold/tgv orings and TB orings and now it runs at 0 vacuums. Havent had time to really look into it. It's be at least 2 weeks now.
  16. Just cause it is a bit cheaper and wanted to give it a try. I am not an oil Nazi on which one to use but an advocate for changing it at a timely manner. However, I have switched to Rotella to all my vehicles.
  17. just switched from Rotella T6 to T5 10W-30. Cheaper than the T6
  18. And not a stupid question, but hoping it is just something stupid Yea, all is connected and tightened. I have done it 2 times now, removing checing gasket and reinstalling and nothing. I still need to give it one more try and make sure the throttle body is sitting flush. If that doesn't work, I am not sure if I should try and tighten down on the gasket till I see it get vacuum. Also the throttle body only has the oring correct?
