finished my front 4 pots. 3 new pistons were required from pitting. on a 1 to ten scale of difficulty I put this at a 2. The sezed pistons were a bear to get out, but the rest was all cleaning , prepping and painting. fun little side winter project http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee110/bcmaxx/20141219_110518_zps83933c2b.jpg all nice again: http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee110/bcmaxx/20150115_160509_zpsbbbffef4.jpg -

You will find out when you attempt to remove them. Three were corrosion pitted past where the seal rides. They were hard to remove without messing anything up. Ill be using lots of hitemp wurth lube under the dust covers as they see a bunch of salt here -

Worth a try. Pull the cover off and check fprbplay in the rockers. I replaced the one collapsed lifter. Ran it and it was way worse. Not sure how but all the intake hlas on one bank went flat. -

http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee110/bcmaxx/20141219_110518_zps83933c2b.jpg my turbo bumper arrived! And cleaning and rebuilding some wrx front calipers. Had to order three pistons. All the pins clips and seals and two new bleeders http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee110/bcmaxx/20141223_163237_zps44e953e9.jpg http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee110/bcmaxx/20141227_162147_zps53863edb.jpg -

replaced collapsed lifter, it was toast, now it intermittently clicks, no rhyme or reason. I didnt read up on bench bleeding until after though... any tips on getting the air out Update should have read a bit first. Took it apart and all four intake hlas lost fprime. Blew it all out with air. bench bled hla individually re assembled and primed them for 20 seconds with the coil unplugged. Good to go and all quiet. -

transmission control module, only for the autos. changes the shift logic. gets rid of the tranny always trying to run the highest gear which to me is really annoying, hold rpm a little longer when shifting, kicksdown crisper and quicker. -

Power mod on the tcm......how did i miss this all this time??? Wow what a difference.. the bad....after sime high rpm snow drifting i have developed a lifter tick. Perhaps collapsed a hydraulic lifter. Try a lil seafoam in the am. -

yes direct bolt in. the only difference was the wrx seats use the bolt that holds the inner seatbelt to the tranny tunnel, so you omit the old rear inner seat bolt hole, but no modification is needed. I removed the stock wrx inner seatbelt latches because they wont work with the legacy buckles. They do sit an inch or so higher. -
