What are the advantages to that style downpipe compared to a invidia with a splitter other than the cat?

the kit ups the line pressure, and quickens and firms up the shifts to prevent slippage and those long laggy shifts that untimately kills these, the added pressure suppose to help planetary burnup. from everything I've read it should handle my 2.2t now. I'll be running synthetic and a heavy duty transmission cooler ( recommend bypassing the rad) it is stated the 4eat cannot be adequately cooled by the rad cooler. I roasted 4th in my car early on, its holding a vf39 @ 20psi just fine in 1st 2nd and 3rd currently. going from 3.90 to 4.44 should also ease some stress. Cant wait to have 4th gear again. this will hold me over until I can get a 6spd in my price range. I have one but had to let it go do to emergency financial situation

Nice and clean gteaser. I really like that. yesterday i washed. Installed new fender liner (old one decided it didnt like me and vacated in an instant) slapped a couple decals on. Ill have to double check . I belive turbo to intercooler elbow was 2" id. Intake tube to turbo was 3" to 2.25 inch

very hard to keep it tidy. I have three catch cans. So all bases covered. Stock maf. Same ftom 93-99 most models. No ecu tune at all. Fmu

93 stock ecu. Stock everything else. 98 2.5 dohc injectors. Holley supercharger fmu with bleed port going to an adjustment valve. In boost im at 10.8 to 11.1 . Off boost is stock and runs and idles perfectly. Im running aem water meth kit with 500cc nozzle beginning at 4 psi. No pinging or knocking. Runs strong

had engine in, realized the flexplates different btween turbo and non turbo....good practice I guess. Got the vf 34 in there, space is a little tighter, and wrapped it, spt heat plate will go on after I check for leaks. down to the oil catch cans. Yes cams please! , only need rockers if they are different than na. but other than the hold down hardware I beleive they are the same.
