That's what I thought. For the money I might go racelands. Good shock/spring combos seem to be pretty close to decent coilover costs.

Are these lowering springs not a good idea to be used with stock shocks? Seeing as its meant for stock spring rates?

That like hemingway said or sometimes if the old rubber mounts for the sways are dry rotted they creak. Just your suspension doing what it is supposed to, just a little rough on the edges..
