  1. Building new engine for my car. No need for these. Came off 05 manual. OEM headers: SOLD OEM uppipe: $20 OEM BPV: $10 SPT intake: new filter less than 1000miles ago. Lower mounting bolt sheered off. But can easily be mounted with a new bolt from hardware store. Lower mounting point for the box also tore. Was like that at the time I took ownership of the car. Box still stayed put with the other mounting bolt in place. SOLD VF46: was on my car at time of spun bearing. Would recommend rebuild, as there was A LOT of metal in my oil. SOLD VF52: Had plans to rebuild this, and use it. Went a different direction with new build. SOLD
  2. - Put your new Spec B interior in. It should plug right in, and not have any seatbelt, or airbag lights. - YOU ARE DONE! CONGRATS! http://i.imgur.com/9GNyicL.jpg
  3. - Put your seat back together. - Use the plastics off your old 05 Seat. - If you had tan seats before, you will have to source some black 05 plastics. http://i.imgur.com/42jt2VT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/SRICSu3.jpg http://i.imgur.com/nXkH4oV.jpg - It's ready for install now!! http://i.imgur.com/kOLpApe.jpg
  4. - the power cord on this seat is also ziptied to the hinge.. - remove these ties, and the whole assembly will come right out. http://i.imgur.com/gNK0YZz.jpg http://i.imgur.com/xcyYP5v.jpg - Take this assembly and relocate it into the Spec B seat. It will bolt right in. http://i.imgur.com/A4UISMw.jpg - Pull the seat cover back over, and clip it back together. http://i.imgur.com/uGB2CuF.jpg
  5. - Grab your 05 seat. - Same thing as with the previous seat. 4 bolts on each side. http://i.imgur.com/e3AOkbK.jpg http://i.imgur.com/S7WvZey.jpg http://i.imgur.com/UQQuL1A.jpg
  6. - Unclip the very bottom http://i.imgur.com/TWUdgF6.jpg - The power wire is ziptied to the hinge. http://i.imgur.com/vKFzted.jpg - Clip the tie, and remove the assembly. We won't be using this. Do what you wish with it. http://i.imgur.com/vQd7lhG.jpg
  7. - Grab the Spec B backrest - The hinge/motor assembly is attached with two bolts on each side. - You will have to release the lower clips to be able to get access to the bolts. http://i.imgur.com/7cVkUDU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/nkPQrPj.jpg http://i.imgur.com/1HEmDOG.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zpjmKhj.jpg http://i.imgur.com/PM4OHzJ.jpg
  8. - Time for the backrest. - 1st, let me help you avoid a big mistake.. DO NOT pull the back cover off from the bottom. Pull from the top. You will break the clips if you pull from the bottom. http://i.imgur.com/2plTWd8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/1OIRVCV.jpg http://i.imgur.com/MCsRILx.jpg
  9. Yeah. I looked at your pictures. Looks so nice. It's exactly what I've always thought would look best. You pretty much read my mind with your design.
  10. Do you have any pictures of the finished rear quarters?
  11. ^^^ so cool!!! This is something you'd cut and weld into your car. Right? I've always wanted wider fenders. But I want it to have a clean OEM look. Like Audi RS cars. This looks like it will have that kind of styling. I'm very excited to see the end product.
  12. I heard it's a sign of trust, if they look at you while doing their business... I was charmed to know she trust me.
  13. - People who originally had tan seats have one extra step. - For some reason the newer years just flipped the plugs on for the seatbelt receiver.. they are the same plug. They just put the halves on opposite sides. - If you had tan seats. You'll want to just swap the plug from the tan to the black. http://i.imgur.com/nxgeg40.jpg
  14. - Back Side - Pull the flap around the bottom of the seat.. http://i.imgur.com/S6DIo9o.jpg - One corner of the flap already has a hole in it. So I punched a matching hole in the other corner. There's a couple brackets that are perfect for running a ziptie through. http://i.imgur.com/ZfkrzwI.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/fJmHaWd.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/g1XPxiO.jpg - Your base convertion is now complete... Backrest is next. *IF YOU HAD TAN SEATS!! You're not done. Keep reading* http://i.imgur.com/bQP0kqT.jpg
  15. - Right side now. - Got a similar situation on this side. But I folded the extra material under the cushion, rather than cutting it. - Need to fold it to keep access to the backrest bolt holes, and the seatbelt mount. http://i.imgur.com/tyGBn3j.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/tRslVzX.jpg - Held it down with more zipties... (ended up with two ties. Forgot to get a picture.) http://i.imgur.com/o8xo0yx.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/9eikazc.jpg
  16. - Added a 2nd ziptie to hold things down. http://i.imgur.com/fOAy4XZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CfQithn.jpg
  17. - The leather ends up getting in the way of the backrest bolt holes. Best solution was to cut the extra material away. http://i.imgur.com/KpiXu8A.jpg http://i.imgur.com/bSuQqZq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/GM1IGAM.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gwYoSAq.jpg
  18. - Move to the left side of the seat. - none of the clips line up with anything useful. So we have to improvise. - I used a hole punch and a ziptie, to hold things together. http://i.imgur.com/mxZUoOP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/FuXWVjQ.jpg
  19. - Fitting the Spec B cushion to the 05 base... http://i.imgur.com/UvhTItw.jpg - The front hog rings line up perfect with this bar that runs across the front of the seat. http://i.imgur.com/BINw5Xt.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/DHNhn7P.jpg
  20. - This seat is less involved than the Spec B seat. The cushion can be removed without splitting the base and the mounting bracket. - There's one plastic clip on all 4 sides. Along with the leather hooked over a couple metal hangers... (The front clip on this seat was broken) http://i.imgur.com/zpxApWm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RWWxKfu.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NLMov6o.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CCQ4UF9.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/30vXR9A.jpg - Won't be needing this cushion. http://i.imgur.com/yzyouXF.jpg
