I thought about sandblasting mine, and just adding a clear coat.

This is 245/40. Honestly, I'd try it if I were you. Take it to Discount tire, have them remove the tire, and slap a 245/40 on there, and see how the front fits. Should be fine on the rear. Fidel, those Teijins you have are 17x9 +35 though.

Was that 18x9 +38 a good fit? Like...tire size and minimal camber?

Ok, I'm going to browse your IG. I'm interested in that size. I've also been eying 18x8.5 +40, and 18x9 +38 or +40.
