  1. Hey fun question, I have Subaru's awesome (cough cough) Gen 5 Navigation system. At some point down the line I want to have that replaced with something a bit more updated. (Going off on streets that no longer exist can be fun provided I don't bottom out but creates problems when I need to get somewhere)

Anyone have any recommendations to Navigation systems they have, or would consider putting in their legacy?

I fully understand the amount of hotels/addresses that don't exit with this system it has sent me down back allies and into trucking companies parking lots. :spin:

I loved my Garmins before this adventure so I have purchased the Garmin Nuvi 2757, FREE life time map upgrades, screen resolution of 800 x 480 very clear. Lane guidance. I purchased the garmin friction mount which fits very nicely into the recess on the dash. My 10 year old garmin outperformed the cars system so this one should be fantastic.

  2. While I agree a house is "usually" a very good investment lets cut the renters some slack as I do enjoy the rent checks when they come in every (hopefully) month. :)

Good luck with the house sales and ya eventually you gotta say I'm done with the nitpicking take it as is or quit wasting my time. Some just keep pushing till you push back.

  3. Wondering why, in my kids 2010 Impreza hatch, the washer fluid switches are reversed. Pressing the side button activates the front wipers, but back spray. Twisting the stalk toward you activates the rear wiper and sprays the front windshield. Any thoughts?

  4. Anyone have tips on teaching someone how to drive stick?

:spin: My student didn't get letting the clutch out until we were on level ground in a parking lot then just SLOWLY letting the clutch out , from idle no gas pedal, till you get it moving.

Also make sure their heel is ON the floor so they can just rock their foot.

It all progressed very quickly from there.

    GOOD LUCK!

  5. Oh crap, now I gotta go look. Who's gonna babysit this idiot along to figure out how to check? I've already thrown it out there... I'll cook you dinner???

By far the most difficult part is contorting yourself so you can see to work inside the back of the glove box. If your coming to the World Record event this Sunday bring a new filter along.
