  1. Now there's something I didn't know I needed. The car will eventually go but this would live on.
  2. Benefits of getting a quote before you hand over the keys. Get all your paperwork in order then call Subaru and diplomatically take it up with them. MUCH of that service is complementary fluff. Just my .02 I'll just put this here for reference. https://www.subaruoutback.org/threads/60k-service-dealership-vs-stealership.517301/
  3. A careful appliction of heat from a hair dryer should tighten the leather some.
  4. Good reference video. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=2013+Subaru+Legacy+rocker+panel+clips&view=detail&mid=7D228684234AF8991D647D228684234AF8991D64&FORM=VIRE Excellent place for fasteners. https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Default.asp
  5. I would leave the brake lights alone. Some years have an electrical when you put them there.
  6. Zerex has the blue lists Subaru on the label, darn good price at NAPA. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/ZRX861398
  7. They have a preferred customer plan that I join for 6 months when I'm ready to stock up. Love their motor oil too.
  8. Wouldn't a site like AutoTrader or Cars etc do a broader search?
  9. No medical bills, more driving experience learned, make some lemonade (or venison stew) from what life has thrown at you and we look forward to seeing what you get next. But ya it still SUCKS
  10. I've got this in my Legacy just had to slice the battery protective thingy to allow longer battery. Just don't get the "F" one as the poles are reversed.https://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Maxx-Lead-Acid-Automotive-Battery-Group-24/49988388 There is also a 55 page thread over on the Outback Forums if you want to punish yourself on this subject.
  11. Take both on a test drive then check out the 2020.
  12. Be careful where you buy them from. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=spark+plug+fakes+&view=detail&mid=58717009E11D47CD1CB358717009E11D47CD1CB3&FORM=VIRE
  13. I would be sure that the Lane keep Assist can still be turned off, should be on the steering wheel, I HATE it on our OB. Love the adaptive cruise, blind spot detection and rear cross traffic alert as well as the Eye Sight. Wouldn't have a vehicle without these. Enjoy the Xtrek.
  14. If your easy ~ moderate on the gas it's CVT with no noticeable shift points when you get more deeply into the gas then she has the noticeable shift points which seems to just drive "some" people bonkers
  15. It is a different version than the 2.5 CVT. I have absolutely no problems with ours even after 22K miles, prefer it to the auto in our Legacy.
  16. I was thinking more like a clogged unit which could cause more oil to be pushed past the rings etc. Sad to hear of these issues since ours uses about a pencil width on the dip stick after 5K with almost 95K miles on her.
  17. doing metal fabrication in flip flops, I can't tolerate sand.
  18. Use the correct tool for the job https://www.amazon.com/303-Rubber-Protectant-Conditioner-Weather/dp/B00T44D1R2
  19. Looks like each window has it's own circuit so maybe it's #27 window relay. https://www.autogenius.info/subaru-legacy-2010-2012-fuse-box-diagram/
