  1. Dam son. That's really fubar. At least you have a stock unit to get going. Is it possible that since you have it, it has cracked? Lord knows. As you said it may have started from 1 and not noticeable until you. Or it just cracked from your use. Going from one location, temp, humidity, elevation plus cold/heat cycles to another may play a role. I'm just playing devils advocate to offer other ideas. Cause dam that-really-sucks. Expensive paper weight. Hope the tuning goes well and last!
  2. Have the union. Builder advised me against doing it. After a lengthy discussion. I have yet to do it. Save the driveline buy a clutch won. Serectly if I hit my target whp dyno. I might do it.
  3. I have fixed the pics:spin:. They are all up. :icon_bigg
  4. For whatever reason the pics from the first page will show on my tapatalk app but not my browser. So if you're using the app enjoy if not I'll get around to fixing it. Sorry
  5. The quarter panel has to be replaced I'm sure. Possibly the bumper. Rim has to be refurbished as well. Considering only that versus hitting a foot tall median head on, or go into oncoming traffic, which will have caused way more. Took the lesser of two evils.
  6. That will have made for an excellent episode of driver fails[emoji1].
  7. I rather not trailblaze to see what is the actual limit of trans and diff is. Today must've had some thing in the water cause I got hit today by a guy in a Corolla who swerved into my lane without checking first. Instead of slowing down for the suv in front of him making a right. Then tried to evade me. In. A stock. 10' Corolla. FML!!!!!! Tried to say it was my fault cause I was speeding. I mean his rear driver door was at my front passenger door and he swerved into me. In a group of 5 cars he swerved hits my front right with his back left and say I was speeding. Wow. I mean WOW. Good thing for and Hawk brake pads and USAA
  8. Yes yes....what turbo is it??!! I'm just holding off until I can get a final tune with an proper intake I've vastly improved the intake so that's a less limiting factor. Now from my readings on the forums the RacerX is just the step over stock when compared to the KillerB unit. So that's the next step. I know I'm basically at the theoretical threshold of driveline components outside of the clutch so I'm not really wanting to push it that far(lol) as this is my daily.
  9. I'm really interested in Cobbs new device although I'm sure t00ning is uber critical. Maybe after a tmic upgrade. Insufficient air supply was the limiting factor of the power. Thus working on intake. And yes I'm kinda worried about blowing a gear or the whole trans. Knock on wood.

  15. After about 3yrs of and modding figured I'll share. I drove it stock for a couple months. Flashed the Cobb ots 93 before going further for S&G to see if it really made a difference and suprise! It was. A very welcome one at that. Part 1. Thus call was placed to Brian at racerx and his tmic was sent out. His charge pipe wasn't available at the time. Still in development phases. Part 2. Then head gaskets started leaking and build began. Sam and Riyaad, Jacob and of course the guru himself Andrew, deserve HUGE Thanks for making this possible! With the engine out, heads off, inspection was scrutinized for warping of heads or any other possible major worries. None found so progress insued! The BIGGEST THANKS go to the wife for not killing me for building it while she was pregnant! Thanks guys for reading. I'll post pics and dyno video later
  16. Really glad to see an end to the pain. Out of it all, knowledge was gained and shared. Happy hunting!
