  1. ...and a foto, just to get the idea (with a "little" of that white cold stuff on it ): http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/7664/p1010619x.jpg
  2. Although the interior illumination kit includes: - cupholder/s - lower center compartment (the one under the A/C panel) - upper center compartment (the one under the radio) - driver+passnger foot lamps You're right, Subaru wants a whole lot of money for this.
  3. Oh no.... !! The Non-sport version I have does not have such a cut-out in the silver plastic of the bumper, in order to mount that upper black part !! Mine is a single piece going all around, I only have the lower opening where I could mount a grille (similar to the USDM version, that is) => BUT...mine does not have the same shape as the USDM version, that's why e.g. the US-built Grillecraft type does not fit... Automobile manufacturers do really seem to make every effort to have versions for single markets that are made of parts INCOMPATIBILE between each other, in order to squeeze quantities and sell more of their own OEM parts. The funny thing is, in Europe there is no specific grille for us (neither OEM nor Aftermarket), so in this case they cut their own possible sales and revenue => straight stupid. SYM, thank You anyway for Your effort !
  4. If You look closely at the second foto of my post #42, You can see the lens. It has the shape of a "U", reaching from the front center towards the middle part of the 2 sides, finishing where the 2 rubber lips come up.
  5. that's good already ! But are the upper black part of the bumper (the one behind the license plate) and the grille one single piece, or is the grille a separate part ?
  6. You're right, we too have 2 versions, standard (like mine) and Sports (like Yours) Our Sport-bumper is the same as Yours, except it comes without the lower grille (?!), plus it's not Plug+Play at all with the standard version I have. I was just wondering if Your lower grille piece could have gone into my bumper. Can You eventually take a foto only showing that grille in order to see its shape and how it's fitted ? Back in time I also checked the Grillcraft type (US), and it's not compatbile. I also found this manufacturer in China, but nobody's had experience with them and their parts: http://www.auto-bodyparts.net/ProductsType/Legacy-car-parts.htm
  7. I was referring to the lower grill, mounted below the bumper. In our versions it's an open part, so leafs and other stuff can be taken in. Would be nice to add that one if possible. So SYM, tell us more...
  8. @SYM, I noticed You have a lower grille under the Sport-bumper, was that already part of the bumper setup or did You add that one afterwards ? If so, where did You get it from ? ... and by the way, cool pics ! Wagons rock !!
  9. thank You coppertone..I just think that these cars are looking best in adverse conditions, so - even if I was rather tired that afternoon - I took the shot. By the way, why do I no longer find the "THANK YOU" button anywhere ?
  10. ...and just to frefresh my issue : Does anybody have the Subaru-part number for the front dash compartment (piece #13 in post Nr. 34) ? For how I use the compartments, the front one would serve me to be closed. The center one could also be a completely open compartment (so not as cupholder). The only "cupholder" I use (sometimes) is the bottle holder in the doors. Never used the center as cupholder, as even small bottles (0,5 l) often get in the way when I move from armrest to shifter.
  11. Here are a few fotos of the EURO/ JDM cupholder. As You see it has a divider in order to use the compartment, or alternatively to use it as cupholder. The compartment measures a total of 165x80 mm, with the divider the single cupholder dimension is 73x80 mm. Hope that clears evtl. doubts. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/5020/p1010612o.jpg http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/7838/p1010613r.jpg http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/9192/p1010614t.jpg
  12. .... should be piece #13, right ? Do You eventually happen to have a part number for this ?
  13. well actually mine is like this (with a different A/C control panel, the radio is the same as the link before): http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/135/gal3.jpg and I would want to transform it like this (with the GT/premium cover): http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/9248/e000849lgimg.jpg
  14. Not that I want to hijack this thread, but we do not have the cover under the radio compartment. So my question would be the other way round: do You have an idea what I would need to add that cover (the one You have stock) ? => EURO VERSION (just refer to the space under the radio) http://dealerrevs.com/gallery/45562259.html => USDM VERSION http://cars.about.com/od/subaru/ig/2010-Subaru-Legacy-photos/2010-Subaru-Legacy-dashboard.htm
  15. Here's a photo of mine in a more specific atmosphere for its kind http://img864.imageshack.us/img864/8004/p10105952.jpg Fast shot taken late afternoon, coming back to the parking lot from a day of skiing...
  16. Thank You...well, hand-holding the camera added extra blur..sorry for that. You can see the lamps in the first (daylight) foto in post #196, the position light is this one (1W): http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/6594/hplente.jpg http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/7346/hplentefronte.jpg In the license plate I used this one (6x1W): http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/2641/ledleseplatte.png I do like the effect of these 2 solutions. Instead, what I don't like too much is the blueish tint in the HiBeam projector when lamps are off (in effect they are light blue tinted)..You can see that in the above foto. I'm still searching there for a feasible type...but the result when switched on is already 100% ok for me. P.S.: Unito..ok, so You're a humanistic guy, are You ? ;-)
  17. I also took some night shots now of the modified lamp asset I have, here You go: 1) Position light http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/8167/p1010497y.jpg http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/8159/p1010498u.jpg 2) Position light + Foglight http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/2103/p1010518bt.jpg http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/8643/p1010504r.jpg http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/7101/p1010501w.jpg 3) HID-LoBeam + Position light http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/401/p1010507i.jpg http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/3581/p1010512r.jpg 4) HID-LoBeam + Position light + Foglight http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/2707/p1010519n.jpg http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/7719/p1010509o.jpg 5) License-plate http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/5875/p1010513x.jpg http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/3381/p1010520r.jpg Some fotos are shot with different white balance, just to see the different colour...but the camera still changes the output. These LED's are all white when You look at them. In fact I wanted to have more light displayed, but not a different light colour than the stock HID's.
  18. cool ! Only 10 min. to the mountains there :-) Unito or Politecnico ? By the way, back in time I spent 6 months in a High School Exchange in the Valley (Thousand Oaks) ;-) ... well, to be honest veeery far back in time, that is :-(
  19. Lumbardy (Lombardia) -> Milano Area 1 hour to the Mediterranean - 1 hour to the Alps...good choice anyway ;-)
  20. So here's mine...just a few functional changes until now - lights (inner+trunk/Hi-beam+position/fog/license-plate), rear mudflaps, rear trunk lip protection, side/front/back protection, side window deflectors..
