  1. Actually, I've seen two other ABP GT wagons in the area, but I'll bet that one was my wagon without me in it and my wife driving. Pretty much guarantees you're not going to be spotted in return unless you have a wreck with her. JDM front bumper and Sox plate. She was running errands in that direction with it since her Accord sat waiting on a dropoff for a brake job farmed out to Motive this morning.
  2. Silver LGT wagon (looked stock) in Winchester/Woburn on the way to Motive to drop off the wife's Accord for an oem brake job.
  3. Nice wagon Claw. Btw, the old Thule Evolution (I think I have the 1600) boxes fit perfectly. The nose does not over hang the windshield and the gate clears in back. Fits 185cm skis.
  4. ^ I'm sorry, but that comment just made my day.
  5. It definitely changes the brake peddle feel. Instead of stepping on a marshmallow, it's like stepping on an orange. You don't really feel the difference near the top until about halfway through the peddle travel though and then the orange gets firmer and firmer all the way to the bottom (which isn't nearly as far away as it used to be). If you are looking for a firmer brake peddle, I would recommend it. My personal preference determination needs a few more days to decide how I feel about it. At the moment it just feels really odd to me cause it's different than the peddle I've gotten used to over 8 years of ownership.
  6. Bucko3the7man came by and did his koni replacement for a bad one and put in my Grimmspeed MCB while he was here. Thanks again bucko!
  7. The zipties holding your grill together give it away.
  8. Crap. Now that you say that. I had covers on mine too that I had to pop out. I just remember that I knew I had access to them. My bad. Glad you figured it out! Set 'em way firmer for autox. I feel like they come from the factory pretty soft. Clarification: in the rain, in the dark with a flashlight and an LED lantern. About six hours start to finish. Including mounting the konis and springs. And a trip to Home Depot and back. And unmounting his old springs from the oem struts to serve up as donors for the next guy. I mostly slung him tools and held the flashlight. It was impressive really.
  9. ^ That turbo sounds like it blows engines. Oh wait. That was a bad piston casting, right? You're cool. Totally safe on that turbo. Enjoy!
  10. Spotted bucko's abp sedan in my driveway. We (okay, mostly he) did a koni swap in the rain. Do not recommend that. Hope it all works right. Enjoy!
  11. Black LGT wagon with rack on top on Mystic Valley Parkway right next to the river. Gave a wave. Female driver looked like she had no idea why I was waving at her.
  12. There's a black LGT wagon that lives over in Belmont too, near the commuter rail tracks. Used to drive past it every day on my way to work.
  13. You got it. Had the winter wheels on then though. Just put the summers on with some dark 10 spoke jobbies if you see me again. Oh wow. There's another one nearby? BigTDogg and I have identical 05 ABP Limited wagons w/5MT and Taupe. Spotted him in the parking lot of Whole Foods last year. I know a couple other members with identical or similar setups too. There's a guy out in California that's racing one of 'em. (Just track day stuff, but still...) What's your interior color and I didn't notice if you had a sunroof or not. Manual or autotragic?
  14. ^ Spotted a silver non-runner LGT parked in front of Motive. Also saw pfoyle and his dimpled butt 5th gen there too. I assume all went well with the install. Also, on the way back home, on 60, beeped at an RBP wagon looking relatively stockish. Got a return honk. Looking good with the rack up top. Just took mine off.
  15. Nearly backed out of a space into another ABP LGT wagon in a strip mall parking lot on Mass Ave (sorry about that, couldn't see around that suv in the space next to me). I can only assume that I spotted BigTDogg again. What's up buddy? Kids and I just got out of dinner at Ixtapa. Looks like you live up in the Heights. We're looking for a new place this spring in Morningside.
  16. Spotted today ... a 5th gen GT in the wild! On 26 in Maine. Black. Are there even any 5th gen GTs that aren't black? Got a wave from you before I could even reach to toot the hellas. Gave you the hellas and the deuces in response. Also spotted (I think it was in MA, but I drove from ME to MA today, so I don't remember where exactly for sure, but definitely somewhere north of Boston) OBP LGT wagon. Looked like the wheels were plastidipped. Gave you a toot and ran out of time for a waive on the way by. Looking good!
  17. You've gotta admit that it's funnier on a 2.5i.
  18. I'm sorry, but this just tickled my funnybone so much that I had to post this twice (Teh Rice thread also). Here it is in context just outside Harvard Square today.
  19. And driving a clearly properly modified (stickers and all) unicorn.
  20. Costco run in Everett. Likely a nontuner na though. Stock Legacy height looks like an outback compared to mine right next to it.
